AB  - U značajnom broju istraživanja potvrđuje se povezanost između školskog neuspeha, sjedne strane i delinkventnog ponašanja mladih koje dovodi do sukoba sa zakonom, sa drugestrane. Pri tome se školski neuspeh uzima kao značajan korelat delinkventnog ponašanja.Cilj ovog istraživanja je da se utvrdi priroda, smer i intenzitet uticaja latentnihvarijabli školskog neuspeha na pojedine dimenzije sukoba sa zakonom.Uzorak istraživanja obuhvatio je 665 ispitanika, oba pola, uzrasta od 14 do 22 godine,podeljenih u dva stratuma. Prvi stratum činilo je 217 ispitanika kojima su zbog sukoba sazakonom izrečene krivične sankcije. Drugi stratum činilo je 448 učenika srednjih škola odprvog do četvrtog razreda. Podaci u istraživanju prikupljeni su posebno konstruisanimupitnikom. Obrada podataka urađena je Analizom glavnih komponenti, regresijom ikanoničkom diskriminativnom analizom.Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da u strukturi školskog neuspeha egzistira desetlatentnih dimenzija, od kojih većina ima prediktorsku ulogu u delinkventnom ponašanju,kao i da njihova uloga varira zavisno od prirode varijabli kojima je operacionalizovanodelinkventno ponašanje. Posebno važan rezultat je da postoje značajne polne razlike uuticaju školskog neuspeha na delinkventno ponašanje.Dobijeni rezultati potvrđuju da školski neuspeh kao višedimenzionalni fenomenima značajnog uticaja na sukobe sa zakonom. Ova saznanja omogućavaju da se organizuju isprovode efektivnije preventivne intervencije
AB  - A significant number of studies confirm links between poor school performance, on the onehand, and adolescent delinquent behaviour that leads to conflict with the law, on the other. Moreover,poor school performance is understood to be a significant correlate of delinquent behaviour. The aimof this study is to determine how the nature, direction of dependence and intensity of latent variablespertaining to poor school performance impact certain aspects of conflict with the law.The sample for this study comprised 665 subjects, of both sexes, aged 14 to 22 and dividedinto two strata. The first stratum consisted of 217 subjects who had experienced conflict with the lawresulting in criminal convictions. The second stratum consisted of 448 high school students fromgrades one through four. The research data were gathered by means of a questionnaire speciallydesigned for the study. Data processing was conducted using principal component analysis,regression analysis and canonical discriminant analysis.The findings show that the structure of poor school performance contains ten latentdimensions, of which the majority have a predictive role in delinquent behaviour and that their rolevaries in a manner that is dependent on the nature of the variables through which delinquent behaviouris operationalised. A particularly important finding is that there are significant gender differences inthe impact of poor school performance on delinquent behaviour.The findings of the study confirm that poor school performance, as a multidimensionalphenomenon, significantly impacts the likelihood of conflict with the law, making it possible toorganise and implement effective preventative measures

Uticaj karakteristika roditeljstva na internalizovane i eksternalizovane probleme kod dece sa oštećenjem sluha

AB  - Extensive theoretical and empirical material indicates that parenting is one of the most important predictors of internalized and externalized problems in children of typical development. Based on this knowledge, the question arises whether the same parenting factors are responsible for the occurrence, development and maintenance of these problems in children with hearing impairment. Accordingly, the aim of this paper is to review the scientific knowledge on the impact of parental characteristics on the development of internalized and externalized problems in children with hearing impairment. The paper summarizes the results of research on the characteristics of parenting in children with hearing impairment and the impact of communication between parents and children with hearing impairment on internalized and externalized problems, in the context of modern knowledge in the general population. Based on the presented studies, it can be concluded that there are no significant differences in the characteristics of parenthood between the parents of children of typical development and children with hearing impairment. There are indications that parents of children with hearing impairment are more exposed to stress and tend to have an overprotective or overcontrolling relation to the child. Inadequate communication with parents stands out as the most important factor in the occurrence of internalized and externalized problems in children with hearing impairment. Specific factors also play an important role, such as the hearing status of the parents or the communication model. In order to prevent internalized and externalized problems in children with hearing impairment, it is recommended to use programs based on parenting skills training, which is fully adapted to the specific needs of the parents.
AB  - Obimna teorijska i empirijska građa ukazuje na to da je roditeljstvo jedan od najznačajnijih prediktora internalizovanih i eksternalizovanih problema kod dece tipičnog razvoja. Na temelju tih saznanja, postavlja se pitanje da li su isti faktori roditeljstva odgovorni za pojavu, razvoj i održavanje navedenih problema kod dece sa oštećenjem sluha. Shodno tome, cilj rada je prikaz naučnih saznanja o uticaju karakteristika roditeljstva na razvoj internalizovanih i eskternalizovanih problema kod dece sa oštećenjem sluha. U radu su sumirani rezultati istraživanja o karakteristikama roditeljstva kod dece sa oštećenjem sluha i uticaju komunikacije između roditelja i deteta sa oštećenjem sluha na internalizovane i eksternalizovane probleme, u kontekstu savremenih saznanja u opštoj populaciji. Na osnovu prikazanih studija može se zaključiti da nema značajnih razlika u karakteristikama roditeljstva između roditelja dece tipičnog razvoja i dece sa oštećenjem sluha. Postoje indicije da su roditelji dece sa oštećenjem sluha više izloženi stresu i da imaju tendenciju ka preterano kontrolišućem ili zaštitničkom odnosu prema detetu. Neadekvatna komunikacija sa roditeljima se izdvaja kao najznačajniji faktor pojave internalizovanih i eksternalizovanih problema kod dece sa oštećenjem sluha. Važnu ulogu imaju i specifčni faktori, poput slušnog statusa roditelja ili modela komunikacije. U svrhu prevencije internalizovanih i eksternalizovanih problema kod dece sa oštećenjem sluha preporučuje se primena programa zasnovanih na treningu roditeljskih veština, koji je potpuno adaptiran specifčnim potrebama roditelja.

Povezanost restriktivnih strategija roditeljskog nadzora i digitalnog nasilja u adolescenciji

AB  - Modern studies show that children and adolescents represent the population of users who spend the most time online and that are significantly more exposed to risk behaviors, mostly in cyberbullying. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to determine the effectiveness and frequency of using restrictive strategies in parental control over a child's online activities. The survey sample contains 183 first and fourth grade high school students answering questions about parental monitoring and cyberbullying. Parental monitoring was examined by a short questionnaire consisted of several categorical questions, while the Cyber Victim and Bullying Scale was used to examine cyberbullying. The results of this study show that parents infrequently use restrictive strategies in monitoring child's internet use. Parents use their strategies mostly to avoid child's chatting with strangers (51.9%) and leaving personal information on the Internet (35.5%), while certain parents have a password of the devices that child uses to access the Internet (37.2%). Only one in five parents limit access to certain websites, while one in ten limit amount of time their teen can go online. The final analysis showed that there is no statistically significant association of restrictive strategies in parental control and digital violence. Parental control can become a significant role in preventing and reducing digital violence in adolescents, but it is necessary to direct parents to make decisions about online rules of conduct in agreement with children and in accordance with their activities and encourage them to use other, adequate parental control strategies.
AB  - Savremene studije pokazuju da deca i adolescenti predstavljaju populaciju korisnika koja najviše vremena provodi na internetu, te su znatno više izloženi rizičnim ponašanjima, a najviše digitalnom nasilju. Stoga je cilj u ovom radu utvrđivanje razlika u učestalosti digitalnog nasilja kod adolescenata u zavisnosti od primene restriktivnih strategija roditeljskog nadzora. Uzorak istraživanja čini 183 učenika prvog i četvrtog razreda gimnazije koji su odgovarali na pitanja o roditeljskom nadzoru i digitalnom nasilju. Roditeljski nadzor ispitivan je kratkim upitnikom, koji se sastojao iz niza kategoričkih pitanja, dok je za ispitivanje digitalnog nasilja korišćena Skala sajber žrtve i nasilnog ponašanja (Cyber Victim and Bullying Scale). Rezultati ovog istraživanja pokazuju da roditelji neredovno koriste restriktivne strategije u vršenju roditeljskog nadzora nad aktivnostima deteta na internetu. Roditeljski nadzor se najčešće svodi na zabranu dopisivanja sa nepoznatim ljudima (51,9%) i nešto manje na zabranu ostavljanja ličnih podataka (35,5%) i posedovanje šifre od uređaja preko kog dete pristupa internetu (37,2%). Završna analiza pokazala je da ne postoji statistički značajna povezanost restriktivnih strategija roditeljskog nadzora sa učinjenim nasiljem na internetu, niti sa doživljenim nasiljem. Kako bi roditeljski nadzor imao značajnu ulogu u prevenciji i redukovanju digitalnog nasilja kod dece adolescentnog uzrasta neophodno je usmeriti roditelje da odluke o pravilima ponašanja na internetu donose u dogovoru sa decom i u skadu sa njihovim aktivnostima i podstaći ih na korišćenje drugih, adekvatnih strategija roditeljskog nadzora.

AB  - This descriptive and exploratory study aimed to examine the relationship between family-centeredness of service delivery and home and community participation of children with cerebral palsy. It was hypothesized that there would be a significant association between family-centeredness of service delivery and parental satisfaction with home and community participation in the group of school-aged children with cerebral palsy. A convenience sample included 110 children with cerebral palsy, aged 7-18 years (55% males; M age = 12.7 years, SD = 3.41). The Measure of Processes of Care (MPOC-20) was used to assess the extent to which parents of children with cerebral palsy perceived health and rehabilitation services they had been receiving as being family-centered. Overall parental satisfaction with their child's home and community participation was evaluated by the Participation and Environment Measure for Children and Youth (PEM-CY). Analyses were performed using Spearman's rank correlation test. Only two out of 10 tested correlations reached the level of statistical significance, both in home environment. Parents who had higher overall satisfaction with their child's current home and community participation perceived certain aspects of health and rehabilitation services as being family-centered to a greater extent (general and specific information). The fulfilment of parents' needs by presenting them general and child-related information could have a positive effect on their satisfaction with their child's home participation. The findings suggest insufficient representation of the concept of participation and family-centered work principles in service planning and the evaluation of outcomes of the applied programs.
AB  - Cilj ove deskriptivne i eksplorativne studije je bio da se ispita odnos između usmerenosti na porodicu u pružanju usluga i participacije dece s cerebralnom paralizom u kućnom okruženju i okruženju zajednice. Postavljena je hipoteza prema kojoj postoji statistički značajna povezanost između usmerenosti na porodicu u pružanju usluga i roditeljskog zadovoljstva participacijom u kućnom okruženju i okruženju zajednice u grupi dece s cerebralnom paralizom školskog uzrasta. Prigodan uzorak je obuhvatio 110 dece s cerebralnom paralizom starosti 7-18 godina (55% muškog pola; prosečnog uzrasta 12,7 godina, SD = 3.41). Za procenu obima u kojem roditelji dece sa cerebralnom paralizom doživljavaju dobijene zdravstvene i rehabilitacione usluge kao usmerene na porodicu korišćena je skala Merenje procesa nege (Measure of Processes of Care - MPOC-20). Sveukupno roditeljsko zadovoljstvo participacijom deteta u kućnom okruženju i okruženju zajednice procenjeno je primenom Testa za procenu participacije i okruženja - Deca i mladi (Participation and Environment Measure for Children and Youth - PEM-CY). Analize su izvršene pomoću koefcijenata Spirmanove korelacije ranga. Samo dve od 10 testiranih korelacija dostigle su nivo statističke značajnosti, obe u kućnom okruženju. Roditelji koji su izrazili veće sveukupno zadovoljstvo trenutnom participacijom svog deteta u kućnom okruženju i okruženju zajednice doživljavali su određene aspekte zdravstvenih i rehabilitacionih usluga kao usmerene na porodicu u većem obimu (opšte i posebne informacije). Pružanjem opštih informacija i informacija o detetu ispunjavaju se roditeljske potrebe što može imati pozitivan uticaj na njihovo zadovoljstvo participacijom dece u kući. Nalazi ukazuju na nedovoljnu zastupljenost koncepta participacije i principa rada usmerenog na porodicu u planiranju usluga i evaluaciji rezultata primenjenih programa.

Razvoj zakonodavnog okvira za zaštitu žena žrtava nasilja u Srbiji

AB  - Cilj rada je da prikaže zalaganja civilnog društva za pravnu zaštitu žena od nasilja i
razvoj zakonodavnog okvira za zaštitu žena od nasilja u Srbiji. Zalaganja za pravnu
zaštitu žena od nasilja počela su osamdesetih da bi bila intenzivirana tokom devedesetih
godina XX veka i to zahvaljujući aktivnostima ženskih grupa i feminističkih istraživačica.
Međutim, do prvih zakonodavnih reformi i instrumenata pravne zaštite žena od nasilja
dolazi tek nakon političkih promena 2000. godine, iako u to vreme još uvek nije postojao
jasan strateški okvir i državna politika za zaštitu žena od nasilja. Razvoj državne politike,
ratifikacija Istanbulske konvencije i otvaranje pregovora za pristupanje Evropskoj uniji
(EU) postavili su novi okvir za zalaganja civilnog društva, koja su usmerena na harmonizaciju pozitivnih propisa i politika sa međunarodnim i evropskim standardima i dalje
unapređenje pravne zaštite žena od nasilja. U radu je prvo dat pregled zalaganja civilnog
društva za pravnu zaštitu žena od nasilja, a potom i prikaz razvoja relevantnog zakonodavnog okvira. U zaključnom delu je data ocena postojeće pravne zaštite žena od nasilja i
ukazano na pravce daljih zalaganja.
AB  - The aim of the paper is to provide an overview of advocacy of the civil society in Serbia for legal reforms for better protection of women from violence and
the development of the legislative framework for the protection of women victims of violence. Advocacy for legal protection of women against violence in Serbia
began already in 1980s, primarily due to the activities of women’s groups and feminist researchers. Advocacy activities intensified during the 1990s. In 1994, the Group
for Women’s Rights of the European Movement in Serbia prepared a first draft of
amendments to the laws related to domestic violence and marital rape. Although
not successful, this advocacy was very important in terms of raising awareness of
state officials and general public about violence against women. First legal reforms
and establishment of normative framework for the protection of women against violence, especially domestic violence, sexual violence and human trafficking, occurred only after political changes in 2000. They were initiated and largely based on
drafts written by the experts of the Victimology Society of Serbia. The basis for these
changes was the proposal of a harmonized reform of several laws in order to ensure
criminal, civil and misdemeanour protection of women against various forms of gender-based violence developed in 1998 and further improved after 2000. Advocacy
that followed resulted in first instruments of legal protection of women victims of
violence: domestic violence was foreseen as a standalone criminal offense, restraining orders have been introduced, legal protection against sexual violence has been
improved, and human trafficking was criminalized.
Since the acceptance of Serbia’s EU candidacy and the start of the EU integration process, a strategic framework for the protection of women against violence
has been developed; the protocols for dealing with domestic and intimate partner
violence and other implementation instruments have been adopted, which set up a
basis for more efficient implementation of legal norms in practice. Ratification of the
Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence and opening negotiations for the EU accession set a new framework for advocacy and contributed to further improvement of legal protection
of women against violence. Stalking, sexual harassment, female genital mutilation
and forced marriage have been incriminated. The Law on the Prevention of Domestic Violence was adopted, which aims to ensure effective prevention from domestic violence and urgent, adequate and effective protection and support to victims
through improvement of coordination and cooperation between competent services.
This should ensure integrated, multi-sector and human rights-based approach to prevention, prosecution and protection of women victims of violence. Normative framework for the protection of women against violence is to a large extent in compliance
with relevant international standards and the European law. However, it still needs to
be fully harmonized with the Istanbul Convention and other ratified international treaties. On the other hand, it remains to monitor application of legislation in practice in
order to assess its consistency, effectiveness and continue evidence-based advocacy
for further improvement of protection of women victims of violence.

Izloženost nastavnika nasilnom ponašanju učenika u srednjim školama za učenike sa smetnjama u razvoju

AB  - Poslednjih godina, viktimizacija nastavnika na radnom mestu postala je
predmet interesovanja brojnih istraživača iz različitih zemalja. Prethodna
istraživanja sugerišu da je većina nastavnika doživela nasilno ponašanje
učenika tokom karijere, a da su nastavnici zaposleni u školama za učenike sa
smetnjama u razvoju posebno ugroženi. Cilj ovog istraživanja je utvrđivanje
razlika u učestalosti i pojavnim oblicima nasilnog ponašanja učenika prema
nastavnicima u srednjim školama za učenike sa smetnjama u razvoju u
odnosu na druge srednje škole. Uzorak čini 96 nastavnika u školama za
učenike sa smetnjama u razvoju i 566 nastavnika u gimnazijama, srednjim
stručnim školama i srednjim umetničkim školama. Za procenu viktimizacije
nastavnika korišćen je upitnik Radne grupe za nasilje u učionici usmereno
prema nastavnicima Američkog udruženja psihologa (APA Classroom Violence
Directed Against Teachers Task Force). Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da
između dva poduzorka nastavnika nema razlika u ukupnoj viktimizaciji, ali da
postoje značajne razlike u pogledu pojavnih oblika nasilnog ponašanja učenika
kojima su izloženi. Nastavnici u školama za učenike sa smetnjama u razvoju
učestalije su izloženi nepristojnim rečima [t (115,953) = -2,841; p = 0,005; η2
= 0,01] i nepristojnim gestovima [t (111,666) = -2,441; p = 0,016; η2 = 0,01],
a nastavnici u drugim srednjim školama elektronskom nasilju [t (572,475) =
4,617; p < 0,001; η2 = 0,03] i pretnjama oružjem [t (565,000) = 3,498; p = 0,001;
η2 = 0,02]. Dobijeni nalazi podržavaju pretpostavku o specifičnostima nasilnog
ponašanja učenika prema nastavnicima u školama za učenike sa smetnjama u
razvoju i impliciraju potrebu za daljim proučavanjem ove problematike.
AB  - In recent years, victimization of teachers in the workplace has become a subject of
interest to numerous researchers from different countries. Previous research suggests that
most teachers have experienced students’ violent behavior during their careers, and that
teachers in schools for students with disabilities are particularly vulnerable. The aim of this
research was to determine the differences inequency and forms of students’ violent behavior
directed against teachers in secondary schools for students with disabilities compared to other
secondary schools. The sample consisted of 96 teachers in secondary schools for students with
disabilities and 566 teachers in grammar schools, vocational secondary schools and secondary
art schools. APA Classroom Violence Directed Against Teachers Task Force questionnaire was
used to collect data on students’ violent behavior directed against teachers. Research results
indicated that there were no differences in total victimization between two subsamples of
teachers, but there were significant differences in the forms of students’ violent behavior they
were exposed to. Teachers in schools for students with disabilities were more often exposed to
obscene remarks [t (115.953) = -2.84; p = 0.005; η2 = 0.01] and obscene gestures [t (111.666) =
-2.44; p = 0.016; η2 = 0.01], while exposure to electronic violence [t (572.475) = 4.62; p < 0.001;
η2 = 0.03] and weapons threats [t (565.000) = 3.50; p = 0.001; η2 = 0.02] were more frequent in
other secondary schools. The obtained findings support the assumption about the specificities
of students’ violent behavior directed against teachers in schools for students with disabilities
and imply the need for further study of this problem.

Directed Against Teachers Task Force). Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da
između dva poduzorka nastavnika nema razlika u ukupnoj viktimizaciji, ali da
postoje značajne razlike u pogledu pojavnih oblika nasilnog ponašanja učenika
kojima su izloženi. Nastavnici u školama za učenike sa smetnjama u razvoju
učestalije su izloženi nepristojnim rečima [t (115,953) = -2,841; p = 0,005; η2
= 0,01] i nepristojnim gestovima [t (111,666) = -2,441; p = 0,016; η2 = 0,01],
a nastavnici u drugim srednjim školama elektronskom nasilju [t (572,475) =
4,617; p < 0,001; η2 = 0,03] i pretnjama oružjem [t (565,000) = 3,498; p = 0,001;
η2 = 0,02]. Dobijeni nalazi podržavaju pretpostavku o specifičnostima nasilnog
ponašanja učenika prema nastavnicima u školama za učenike sa smetnjama u
razvoju i impliciraju potrebu za daljim proučavanjem ove problematike., In recent years, victimization of teachers in the workplace has become a subject of
interest to numerous researchers from different countries. Previous research suggests that
most teachers have experienced students’ violent behavior during their careers, and that
teachers in schools for students with disabilities are particularly vulnerable. The aim of this
research was to determine the differences inequency and forms of students’ violent behavior
directed against teachers in secondary schools for students with disabilities compared to other
secondary schools. The sample consisted of 96 teachers in secondary schools for students with
disabilities and 566 teachers in grammar schools, vocational secondary schools and secondary
art schools. APA Classroom Violence Directed Against Teachers Task Force questionnaire was
used to collect data on students’ violent behavior directed against teachers. Research results
indicated that there were no differences in total victimization between two subsamples of
teachers, but there were significant differences in the forms of students’ violent behavior they
were exposed to. Teachers in schools for students with disabilities were more often exposed to
obscene remarks [t (115.953) = -2.84; p = 0.005; η2 = 0.01] and obscene gestures [t (111.666) =
-2.44; p = 0.016; η2 = 0.01], while exposure to electronic violence [t (572.475) = 4.62; p < 0.001;
η2 = 0.03] and weapons threats [t (565.000) = 3.50; p = 0.001; η2 = 0.02] were more frequent in
other secondary schools. The obtained findings support the assumption about the specificities
of students’ violent behavior directed against teachers in schools for students with disabilities
and imply the need for further study of this problem.",

AB  - Osnovni cilj istraživanja je sagledavanje specifičnosti polnih i uzrasnih razlika
u pogledu slike o sebi kod adolescenata na smeštaju u ustanovama socijalne
zaštite, u odnosu na adolescente iz opšte populacije. Uzorkom je obuhvaćeno
47 adolescenata na smeštaju u ustanovama socijalne zaštite i 271 adolescent
iz opšte populacije, uzrasta 14-18 godina, oba pola. Za procenu slike o sebi
primenjena je Pirs-Harisova skala self-koncepta za decu. Rezultati ukazuju da
kod adolescenata na smeštaju u ustanovama socijalne zaštite ne postoje statistički
značajne polne razlike u skorovima, dok su u poduzorku adolescenata
iz opšte populacije zabeležene statistički značajne polne razlike u skorovima
na podskalama Prilagođenost ponašanja (t = -2,11; df = 266,15; p < 0,05),
Oslobođenost od anksioznosti (t = 5,89; df = 248,37; p < 0,01), Popularnost
(t = 2,00; df = 269; p < 0,05), kao i na Ukupnom skoru (t = 2,36; df = 269; p <
0,05). U poduzorku adolescenata na smeštaju u ustanovama socijalne zaštite
nije evidentirana statistički značajna povezanost uzrasta ispitanika i skorova
na datom instrumentu, dok je kod adolescenata iz opšte populacije registrovana
statistički značajna povezanost uzrasta ispitanika i skorova na podskalama
Intelektualni i školski status (r = -0,15; p < 0,05) i Sreća i zadovoljstvo (r =
-0,15; p < 0,05), kao i na Ukupnom skoru (r = -0,15; p < 0,05). Dobijeni nalazi
upućuju na izvesna odstupanja u polnim i uzrasnim razlikama u pogledu slike
o sebi kod adolescenata na smeštaju u ustanovama socijalne zaštite, što se
može pripisati delovanju različitih nepovoljnih faktora, karakterističnih za ovu
populaciju.

of adolescents from residential care facilities, compared to adolescents from general
population. The sample included 47 adolescents from residential care facilities and 271
adolescents from general population, ages 14-18, of both sexes. The Piers-Harris Children’s

activity of various adverse factors, characteristic of this population.

AB  - Prihvatilište za decu je ustanova socijalne zaštite koja pruža smeštaj
i zadovoljenje osnovnih potreba dece i adolescenata u kriznim situacijama.
Cilj istraživanja bio je sagledavanje varijabli povezanih sa smeštajem u pri-
hvatilište. Uzorak su činili svi korisnici usluga Prihvatilišta za decu
Beograda u 2018. godini: ukupno 304 dece i adolescenata, oba pola, uzrasta od
sedam do 18 godina. Podaci su prikupljeni analiziranjem Godišnjeg izveštaja
Prihvatilišta za decu Beograda. Rezultati istraživanja otkrivaju izuzet-
nu heterogenost korisnika usluga prihvatilišta u sociodemografskim karak-
teristikama i potrebama u domenu obrazovanja, porodične, socijalne i zdrav-
stvene zaštite. Prikazani rezultati impliciraju neophodnost primene raz-
novrsnih usluga i intervencija koje su usklađene sa individualnim potrebama
korisnika.

crisis situations. The aim of the research
was to determine the variables related to
the placement in the shelter. The sample
consisted of all users of Belgrade Children’s
Shelter services in 2018: a total of 304
children and adolescents, both sexes, aged
seven to 18 years. Data were collected by
analyzing the Annual Report of the Belgrade
Children’s Shelter. The results reveal a
remarkable heterogeneity of shelter services
users in sociodemographic characteristics
and needs in the field of education, family social and health care. The presented results
imply the necessity to implement a variety of
services and interventions that are tailored
to the individual needs of users.

Savremena teorijska razmatranja participacije u studijama ometenosti

AB  - U ovom tekstu prikazane su aktuelne teorijske rasprave o participaciji. Smatra se da je participacija dokaz promena koje su načinjene prelaskom sa medicinskog na socijalni, a potom i biopsihosocijalni model sagledavanja ometenosti, odnosno različitih zdravstvenih stanja, te da govori u prilog opravdanosti promena koje su započele u poslednjim decenijama XX veka. Polazeći od postojeće definicije i biopsihosocijalnog modela na kome se temelji, ovaj pojam se razgraničava od pojmova sa kojima se najčešće dovodi u vezu. Takođe, traga se za odgovorom na pitanje o razlozima rasprostranjenosti interesovanja za participaciju u studijama ometenosti. Nakon osvrta na prirodu participacije, a posebno na njeno mesto u modelu Međunarodne klasifikacije funkcionisanja, invalidnosti i zdravlja, ukazano je da su mogućnosti operacionalizacije, merenja i optimalizacije jedno od mogućih objašnjenja. Razmatra se paralelna subjektivna i objektivna priroda participacije uz težnju da se izdvoje i ustanove promene i savremeni tokovi u načinu sagledavanja ovog koncepta. Izdvojena je kritika koja se odnosi na nedovoljno jasnu distinkciju između aktivnosti i participacije. Novije rasprave o kriterijumima za njihovo razdvajanje su rezultirale iniciranjem uvođenja subjektivng doživljaja uključenosti kao trećeg kvalifikatora. Rezultati ove studije ilustruju da je potrebno dalje ispitivati, teorijski i empirijski, opravdanost ovog predloga.
AB  - In this text, the current theoretical discussions on participation are presented. Participation is considered to be evidence of changes that have been made by moving from the medical to the social model of disability, and then to the biopsychosocial model of disability, or various health conditions, and that it speaks in favour of the justification of the changes that began in the last decades of the 20th century. Starting from the existing definition and the biopsychosocial model on which it is based, this concept is being differentiated from other concepts that are most often associated with it. The attempts are made to answer the question on reasons for widespread interest in participation in disability studies. After reviewing the nature of participation, especially its position in the model of International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health, It was pointed out that the possibilities of operationalization, measurement and optimization are one of the possible explanations. The parallel subjective and objective nature of participation is considered, with the aim to single out and determine changes and contemporary trends in the way of understanding this concept. A critique addressed to the insufficiently clear distinction activities and participation. Recent discussions on the criteria for their distinction resulted in the initiation of the introduction of a subjective experience of involvement as a third qualifier. The results of this study illustrate the need to further examine, theoretically and empirically, the justification of this proposal.

Nakon osvrta na prirodu participacije, a posebno na njeno mesto u modelu Međunarodne klasifikacije funkcionisanja, invalidnosti i zdravlja, ukazano je da su mogućnosti operacionalizacije, merenja i optimalizacije jedno od mogućih objašnjenja. Razmatra se paralelna subjektivna i objektivna priroda participacije uz težnju da se izdvoje i ustanove promene i savremeni tokovi u načinu sagledavanja ovog koncepta. Izdvojena je kritika koja se odnosi na nedovoljno jasnu distinkciju između aktivnosti i participacije. Novije rasprave o kriterijumima za njihovo razdvajanje su rezultirale iniciranjem uvođenja subjektivng doživljaja uključenosti kao trećeg kvalifikatora. Rezultati ove studije ilustruju da je potrebno dalje ispitivati, teorijski i empirijski, opravdanost ovog predloga., In this text, the current theoretical discussions on participation are presented. Participation is considered to be evidence of changes that have been made by moving from the medical to the social model of disability, and then to the biopsychosocial model of disability, or various health conditions, and that it speaks in favour of the justification of the changes that began in the last decades of the 20th century. Starting from the existing definition and the biopsychosocial model on which it is based, this concept is being differentiated from other concepts that are most often associated with it. The attempts are made to answer the question on reasons for widespread interest in participation in disability studies. After reviewing the nature of participation, especially its position in the model of International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health, It was pointed out that the possibilities of operationalization, measurement and optimization are one of the possible explanations. The parallel subjective and objective nature of participation is considered, with the aim to single out and determine changes and contemporary trends in the way of understanding this concept. A critique addressed to the insufficiently clear distinction activities and participation. Recent discussions on the criteria for their distinction resulted in the initiation of the introduction of a subjective experience of involvement as a third qualifier. The results of this study illustrate the need to further examine, theoretically and empirically, the justification of this proposal.",

AB  - Given the multifactorial character of migration, a universal theoretical conception can not be used in the analysis of phenomena. Accordingly, the aim of the paper is to analyze ten groups of integrative concepts, divided into two larger units. The first part contains theoretical concepts that analyze the potential etiological and factors of the characteristics of the migration process: rejection and attraction theory, family migration theory, model of migration transition - from emigration to immigration countries, social development theory and security approaches to migration. The second part of the theory contains concepts explaining the impact of different circumstances on the socio-emotional development and adaptation process of children, especially in forced migration: risk and protection factors, theoretical approaches to traumatic events of children, psychoanalytic migration theory, attachment theory, and the Integrative model of developmental competencies children from minority groups. The concluding observations are aimed at sublimating the importance of a multiparadigmatic interpretation of the migration process, with particular reference to the practical implications of preventive action on the risks to which children are exposed at all stages of migration.
AB  - S obzirom na multifaktorski karakter migracija, u analizi fenomena se ne može koristiti univerzalna teorijska koncepcija. Shodno tome, cilj rada jeste da se analizira deset grupa integrativnih koncepcija, podeljenih u dve veće celine. U prvoj celini se nalaze teorijske koncepcije u okviru kojih se analiziraju potencijalno etiološki i faktori obeležja migracionog procesa: teorija odbijanja i privlačenja, porodična teorija migracija, model migracione tranzicije - od emigracionih ka imigracionim zemljama, teorija društvenog razvoja i bezbednosni pristupi migracijama. U drugoj celini teorija se nalaze koncepcije koje objašnjavaju uticaj različitih okolnosti na socioemocionalni razvoj i proces adaptacije dece, naročito u prisilnim migracijama: faktori rizika i zaštite, psihoanalitička teorija migracija, teorijski pristupi traumatičnim događajima dece, teorija afektivne vezanosti i Integrativni model razvojnih kompetencija dece iz manjinskih grupa. Zaključna razmatranja su usmerena na sublimaciju značaja multiparadigmatskog tumačenja migracionog procesa, sa posebnim osvrtom na praktične implikacije u smislu preventivnog delovanja na rizike kojima su deca izložena u post-migracionoj fazi procesa.

AB  - The notion of "children on the move" is relatively new in the scientific and political sense. The goals of this paper are the conceptualization of the notion and categories of "children on the move", the analysis of risk factors and the consequences for the well-being of children created by forced migrations and the establishment of a theoretical framework for understanding this phenomenon. In the paper, analysis and synthesis are used as general scientific methods. "Children on the move" represent a vulnerable population which is in many ways exposed to different types of risks for their safety, health and socio-emotional development. Particular challenges for the protection of "children on the move" concern the realization of the right to non-discrimination, the right to the best interest, the right to life, survival and development and the right to participation. The social policy towards "children on the move" should be multidimensional and multisectoral.
AB  - Pojam "dece u pokretu" je relativno Nov u naučnom i političkom smislu. Ciljevi ovog rada su konceptualizacija pojma i kategorija "dece u pokretu", analiza rizičnih faktora i posledica po blagostanje dece koje stvaraju prisilne migracije i uspostavljanje teorijskog okvira razumevanja ovog fenomena. U radu se kao opšte naučne metode koriste analiza i sinteza. "Deca u pokretu" jesu ranjiva populacija koja je višestruko izložena različitim vidovima rizika po njihovu bezbednost, zdravlje i socio-emocionalni razvoj. Posebni izazovi za zaštitu "dece u pokretu", tiču se ostvarivanja prava na nediskriminaciju, prava na najbolji interes, prava na život, opstanak i razvoj i prava na participaciju. of parental monitoring. Most parents use
restrictive strategies, in the form of time
and content limitations, which have weak
effects. There is a need to educate parents
about effective strategies to monitor child’s
activities on the Internet that can contribute
to preventing and reducing bully
AB  - Brojna istraživanja pokazuju da je prevalencija vršnjačkog nasilja na inter- netu u porastu. Prevencija izloženosti i ispoljavanja ovog oblika vršnjačkog nasilja predstavlja poseban izazov za roditelje. Njihova protektivna uloga je umanjena, jer su deca informaciono-tehnološki pismenija i poseduju uređaje koji omogućavaju neograničen pristup internetu. Nadzor nad aktivnostima dete- ta na internetu predstavlja specifičnu vrstu roditeljskog nadzora. Većina roditelja koristi restriktivne strategije, u vidu ograničavanja vremena i sadržaja, koje imaju slabe efekte. Postoji potreba za edukacijom roditelja o efektivnim strategijama nadziranja aktivnosti deteta na internetu koje mogu doprineti prevenciji i redukovanju vršnjačkog nasilja.

Procena negativnih posledica razvoda na maloletnu decu i moguće intervencije

AB  - Zbog rapidnog povećanja stope razvoda brakova u savremenom društvu, sve
se veći broj maloletne dece suočava sa posledicama ovog stresnog životnog
događaja. Stoga su u radu, na bazi analize relevantne empirijske građe, razmotreni
negativni efekti razvoda na decu, faktori maladaptacije i moguće
intervencije. Rezultati istraživanja, i pri kontroli varijabli u periodu pre razvoda
roditelja, sistematski ukazuju na dva i po puta češću pojavu bihevioralnih,
emocionalnih, psihosocijalnih, akademskih i drugih problema prilagođavanja
kod dece i adolescenata čiji su roditelji razvedeni u odnosu na one iz nerazvedenih
brakova (25% : 10%). Brojne studije dosledno potvrđuju da su dugoročni
negativni efekti razvoda najviše povezani sa poremećajima u ponašanju,
impulsivnošću i delinkvencijom dece, a potom i sa depresijom, anksioznošću,
niskom samoprocenom, problemima u odnosima dece sa roditeljima (posebno
sa roditeljem sa kojim ne žive), vršnjacima i figurama autoriteta, kao i sa
nižim školskim postignućem, napuštanjem škole i drugim problemima (npr. sa
tri puta češćim adolescentskim trudnoćama). U radu su izdvojeni empirijski
verifikovani činioci značajni za predikciju dugoročno nepovoljnih posledica razvoda
na dete (karakteristike deteta, odnos deteta i roditelja, konflikti među
roditeljima, starateljstvo i kvalitet kontakta sa odsutnim roditeljem, novi brak
roditelja i sl.), kao i pojedinačni faktori rizika i zaštite važni za predviđanje
(ne)prilagođenosti. Takođe su prezentovane intervencije u radu sa decom, roditeljima
i u zajednici, uz analizu raspoloživih istraživačkih nalaza o njihovoj
efikasnosti. Zaključeno je da se okolnosti i negativne posledice razvoda, protektivni
i riziko faktori moraju pažljivo individualizovano procenjivati imajući u
vidu specifične potrebe pojedinačnog deteta, kako bi se obezbedila adekvatna
intervencija. Razvod roditelja je za decu težak i bolan proces bez obzira na njihov uzrast, te se može očekivati da period prilagođavanja traje dve godine.
Generalno, povoljnije efekte imaju intervencije usmerene na redukciju roditeljskih
konflikata i promociju bliskosti dece i oba roditelja, poput medijacije,
kao i suportivni programi u školama.
AB  - Due to the rapid increase of the incidence of divorce in modern society a growing
number of minor children are facing the consequences of this stressful life event. Therefore,
based on the analysis of empirical studies, this paper considers negative effects of divorce on
children, maladaptation factors and possible interventions. Research findings indicate that,
even when variables before parental divorce are controlled, children and adolescents from
divorced families are 2.5 times more likely to experience behavioral, emotional, psychosocial,
academic and other adaptation problems compared to children and adolescents from
nondivorced families (25% : 10%). A number of studies consistently show that long term
negative effects of divorce are strongly related to conduct disorders, impulsivity and
delinquency of children, as well as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, problems with
parent-child relationship (especially with nonresidential parent), in relations with peers and
authority figures. Additionally, they are more likely to have lower academic achievements, drop out of school and have other problems (such as three times higher incidence of teen
pregnancy). This paper examines empirically verified factors important for the prediction of
long-term unfavorable consequences of divorce on children (child characteristics, parent child
relationship, parental conflicts, parental custody, relationship quality with nonresidential
parent, remarriage, etc.), as well as individual risk and protective factors important for
predicting (mal)adjustment. Additionally, interventions focused on children, on parents
and community-based interventions are presented, with the analysis of available research
findings on their efficacy. It is concluded that conditions, negative effects, protective and risk
factors of divorce need to be carefully and individually assessed having in mind the specific
needs of the child, in order to provide a tailored intervention. Parental divorce is a difficult
and painful process for children no matter of their age, so it is expected that the adaptation
period lasts two years. Generally, interventions focused on the reduction of parental conflict
and promotion of positive relations of the child with both parents, such as mediation and
supportive programs in schools, show more favorable effects.

abstract = "Zbog rapidnog povećanja stope razvoda brakova u savremenom društvu, sve
se veći broj maloletne dece suočava sa posledicama ovog stresnog životnog
događaja. Stoga su u radu, na bazi analize relevantne empirijske građe, razmotreni
negativni efekti razvoda na decu, faktori maladaptacije i moguće
intervencije. Rezultati istraživanja, i pri kontroli varijabli u periodu pre razvoda
roditelja, sistematski ukazuju na dva i po puta češću pojavu bihevioralnih,
emocionalnih, psihosocijalnih, akademskih i drugih problema prilagođavanja
kod dece i adolescenata čiji su roditelji razvedeni u odnosu na one iz nerazvedenih
brakova (25% : 10%). Brojne studije dosledno potvrđuju da su dugoročni
negativni efekti razvoda najviše povezani sa poremećajima u ponašanju,
impulsivnošću i delinkvencijom dece, a potom i sa depresijom, anksioznošću,
niskom samoprocenom, problemima u odnosima dece sa roditeljima (posebno
sa roditeljem sa kojim ne žive), vršnjacima i figurama autoriteta, kao i sa
nižim školskim postignućem, napuštanjem škole i drugim problemima (npr. sa
tri puta češćim adolescentskim trudnoćama). U radu su izdvojeni empirijski
verifikovani činioci značajni za predikciju dugoročno nepovoljnih posledica razvoda
na dete (karakteristike deteta, odnos deteta i roditelja, konflikti među
roditeljima, starateljstvo i kvalitet kontakta sa odsutnim roditeljem, novi brak
roditelja i sl.), kao i pojedinačni faktori rizika i zaštite važni za predviđanje
(ne)prilagođenosti. Takođe su prezentovane intervencije u radu sa decom, roditeljima
i u zajednici, uz analizu raspoloživih istraživačkih nalaza o njihovoj
efikasnosti. Zaključeno je da se okolnosti i negativne posledice razvoda, protektivni
i riziko faktori moraju pažljivo individualizovano procenjivati imajući u
vidu specifične potrebe pojedinačnog deteta, kako bi se obezbedila adekvatna
intervencija. Razvod roditelja je za decu težak i bolan proces bez obzira na njihov uzrast, te se može očekivati da period prilagođavanja traje dve godine.
Generalno, povoljnije efekte imaju intervencije usmerene na redukciju roditeljskih
konflikata i promociju bliskosti dece i oba roditelja, poput medijacije,
kao i suportivni programi u školama., Due to the rapid increase of the incidence of divorce in modern society a growing
number of minor children are facing the consequences of this stressful life event. Therefore,
based on the analysis of empirical studies, this paper considers negative effects of divorce on
children, maladaptation factors and possible interventions. Research findings indicate that,
even when variables before parental divorce are controlled, children and adolescents from
divorced families are 2.5 times more likely to experience behavioral, emotional, psychosocial,
academic and other adaptation problems compared to children and adolescents from
nondivorced families (25% : 10%). A number of studies consistently show that long term
negative effects of divorce are strongly related to conduct disorders, impulsivity and
delinquency of children, as well as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, problems with
parent-child relationship (especially with nonresidential parent), in relations with peers and
authority figures. Additionally, they are more likely to have lower academic achievements, drop out of school and have other problems (such as three times higher incidence of teen
pregnancy). This paper examines empirically verified factors important for the prediction of
long-term unfavorable consequences of divorce on children (child characteristics, parent child
relationship, parental conflicts, parental custody, relationship quality with nonresidential
parent, remarriage, etc.), as well as individual risk and protective factors important for
predicting (mal)adjustment. Additionally, interventions focused on children, on parents
and community-based interventions are presented, with the analysis of available research
findings on their efficacy. It is concluded that conditions, negative effects, protective and risk
factors of divorce need to be carefully and individually assessed having in mind the specific
needs of the child, in order to provide a tailored intervention. Parental divorce is a difficult
and painful process for children no matter of their age, so it is expected that the adaptation
period lasts two years. Generally, interventions focused on the reduction of parental conflict
and promotion of positive relations of the child with both parents, such as mediation and
supportive programs in schools, show more favorable effects.",

AB  - The aim of this paper is to examine the prevalence and characteristics of alcohol use among students in student dormitories. The sample contains 223 students of University of Belgrade, aged 19-30, who lived in student dormitories during the research. The questionnaire of the Core Institute was used for this research. The results of this study show that one-fifth of students in student dormitories consumes alcohol four or more times a week, while in the past two weeks 40% of students have consumed five or more drinks in one occasion. Most students have positive attitudes toward alcohol use, despite the fact they have experienced negative consequences of drinking. The final analysis showed that the use of alcohol among students in student dormitories is associated with some study characteristics and socio-demographic characteristics of the student.
AB  - Cilj ovog rada je utvrđivanje učestalosti i karakteristika upotrebe alkohola kod studenata u studentskim domovima. Uzorak čini 223 studenta Univerziteta u Beogradu, uzrasta od 19 do 30 godina, koji su u vreme istraživanja živeli u studenskom domu. Za potrebe istraživanja korišćen je upitnik Korovog instituta (The Core Institut). Rezultati ovog istraživanja pokazuju da petina studenata u studentskim domovima konzumira alkohol četiri ili više puta nedeljno, dok je u prethodne dve nedelje 40% studenata popilo pet ili više pića u jednoj prilici. Većina studenata ima pozitivne stavove prema upotrebi alkohola, iako su iskusili negativne posledice pijenja. Završna analiza pokazala je da je upotreba alkohola kod studenata u studentskim domovima povezana sa nekim sociodemografskim karakteristikama i karakteristikama studiranja.

AB  - Примена алтернативних кривичних санкција и мера, посебно оних
које се извршавају под окриљем заједнице, један је од могућих начина смањења затворске популације и решавања проблема пренасељености, рационализације поступања и
хуманијег односа према учиниоцима кривичних дела. Истовремено, применом алтернативних санкција и мера омогућава се активније укључивање жртве и заједнице у процес
реинтеграције и социјалне инклузије учинилаца, што је важан предуслов за уздржавање
од криминалног понашања и спречавање поврата. Циљ овог рада је анализа законодавног оквира и примене алтернативних санкција и мера у односу на пунолетне учиниоце
кривичних дела у Србији. За потребе рада, под алтернативним санкцијама и мерама
подразумевају се кривичне санкције и мере које се извршавају под окриљем друштвене
заједнице, које суд изриче након спроведног кривичног поступка, чија је примена заснована на претпоставци да се циљеви кажњавања могу постићи и без казне затвора или
новчане казне, а које укључују контролу, надзор и подршку осуђеном лицу. Сходно томе,
у раду се анализирају рад у јавном интересу, условна осуда са заштитним надзором и
извршење казне затвора у просторијама у којима осуђени станује, са или без електронског надзора. На почетку је дат кратак преглед захтева, стандарда и принципа садржаних у међународним документима релевантним за примену алтернативних санкција.
Потом се анализира законодавни оквир, а онда и примена алтернативних санкција и
мера у пракси, и то на основу података које прикупљају Републички завод за статистику и Савет Европе (SPACE II). У закључном делу се указује на могуће даље кораке у
правцу обезбеђивања шире примене алтернативних санкција и мера у Србији.
AB  - The use of alternative criminal sanctions and measures (community sanctions and
measures) is considered to be one of the possible ways of reducing prison population and
addressing the problem of prison overcrowding, rationalization of the procedure and a more
humane treatment of offenders. At the same time, the use of alternative sanctions and measures allows more active involvement of the victim and the community in the process of reintegration and social inclusion of offenders, which is an important prerequisite for desistance
and prevention of recidivism. The aim of this paper is to analyse normative framework and
application of alternative sanctions and measures for adult offenders of criminal offenses in
Serbia. Community service, suspended sentence with protective supervision and the execution
of imprisonment in the premises where the convicted person resides, with or without electronic monitoring, are analysed. These criminal sanctions and measures are implemented in the
community, they are imposed by the court after the criminal proceedings, and their use is based on the presumption that the purpose of punishment can be achieved without imprisonment or fine. They also include control, supervision and support for the convicted person,
which is the essence of community santions. The paper starts with a brief overview of relevant
international documents that set forth obligations, standards and principles for implementing
alternative sanctions and measures. It proceeds with the analysis of the normative framework,
and then with the analysis of implementation of alternative sanctions and measures in practice
in Serbia, which is based on the available statistical data collected and published by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia and the Council of Europe Annual Penal Statistics SPACE II. In the conclusion, some possible steps for future broader use of alternative sanctions
and measures in Serbia are pointed out.

AB  - Procena rizika nasilnog ponašanja ima značaja u sudskom postupku opredeljivanja
za izricanje zatvorske, odnosno alternativne kazne, a u penalnim uslovima pri-
likom primarne klasifikacije, sačinjavanja programa postupanja, u određivanju
nivoa izolacije i segregacije unutar zatvora, tokom evaluacionih postupaka i
konačno u opredeljenju da li preporučiti uslovni otpust konkretnom osuđenom,
s obzirom na mogućnost ponovnog ugrožavanja drugih po izlasku na slobodu.
Prvobitne procene rizika nasilja kod osuđenih sačinjavane su od strane psi-
hologa i psihijatara, ali se tokom osamdesetih godina HH veka pokazalo da su
pouzdane samo u trećini slučajeva. Devedesete godine prošlog veka donele su na-
predak u tehnikama procene, tako da je pouzdanost procene kratkoročnog rizika
porasla na jednu polovinu, dok se kod dugoročnih procena, pouzdanost zadržala
na trećini tačnih prognoza. Vremenom su usavršavani instrumenti procene
nasilnog ponašanja do aktuelno visokog nivoa preciznosti, preko 80% tačnih
prognoza.
AB  - Violent behavior risk assessment has its
significance in judicial proceedings of
choosing between sentencing one to a prison
or alternative punishment, whereas in penal
conditions its importance lies during the
initial classification, treatment program
creation, determining the level of isolation
and segregation within the prison, in the
course of evaluation procedures and finally
in decision making process of whether
a convict should be sent on parole when
possibility of repeated threat to others after
the release is taken into account. The original
violent behavior risk assessments in convicts
used to be conducted by psychologists and
psychiatrists; however, they were shown
to be reliable only in the third of the cases
in the eighties. The nineties brought upon
advancements in the assessment techniques,
thus the short-term risk reliability levels rose
to a half of the cases, even though it remained
at the level of a third of the correct prognosis
in long term assessments. In time, violent
behavior risk assessment instruments have
been improved to the currently high precision
levels of over 80% of accurate assessments.

AB  - The subject of this work is a synthesis of recent ideas of scientific,
professional and political community concerning what directions should
reform of social protection system – the part relating to children and
juveniles with delinquent behavior follow. Social protection institutions are
the key segment of organized and formal systems of social reaction to juvenile
delinquency. The most general role of the modern social protection system
that was developed is dealing with the protection of the interests of children
and juveniles. Social services start from the premise that the crime of children
and juveniles in the manifestation of social development and meeting their
social needs. The main purpose of the article is to give a critical analysis of
reform ideas and point out certain dilemmas and controversies which are
brought about in this field in respect of reform procedures. The paper
critically evaluate national experiences in the reform social protection system.
The analysis method used in the present article is the document analysis one.
The analysis done indicates the possibility of identification of the basic
ideological of reform of social protection system related to juvenile
delinquency, as the concept of individual responsibility for life trouble,
pluralism of services, decentralization, redefinition of methods and standards
of institutions, case management and deinstitutionalization.
AB  - Predmet ovog rada jeste sinteza dosadašnjih ideja naučne, stručne i političke javnosti o tome u kom
pravcu treba da se kreće reforma sistema socijalne zaštite u tranzicijskim društvima koja sa odnosi
na decu i maloletnike sa delinkventnim ponašanjem. Institucije socijalne zaštite predstavljaju
ključan segment organizovanog i formalnog sistema društvenog reagovanja na maloletničko
prestupništvo. Najopštija uloga savremeno koncipiranog sistema socijalne zaštite jeste bavljenje
zaštitom interesa dece i maloletnika. Službe socijalne zaštite polaze od stanovišta da je kriminalitet
dece i maloletnika manifestacija smetnji u socijalnom razvoju i zadovoljavanju njihovih socijalnih
potreba. Osnovni cilj rada je kritička analiza reformskih ideja i ukazivanje na određene dileme i
kontroverze koje su pogledu reformskih zahvata u ovoj oblasti javljaju. U radu se kritički ocenjuju
domaća iskustva u reformi sistema socijalne zaštite. U radu se koristi metoda analize dokumenata.
Analiza ukazuje da je moguće identifikovati osnovu ideologije reforme sistema socijalne zaštite
maloletnih prestupnika, kao što su koncept individualne odgovornosti za životne probleme,
pluralizam servisa, decentralizacija, redefinisanje metoda i standarda institucija, vođenje slučaja i
deinstitucionalizacija.

AB  - Violence in intimate partner relationships is a widespread phenomenon and is the most common type of victimization of women by domestic violence. It signify a violation of women's human rights and forms of discrimination against women, and given the complexity and harmfulness of consequences, it is a serious social problem. Prejudice and lack of information about violence against women help, encourage and justify violence and influence how (and whether in general) a woman will recognize violence and react to it, so it is tofind out the facts about violence, identifying, revealing and overcoming these prejudices is one of the first steps in ending violence against women. That is why the subject of this work is the characteristics of the partners of the partner violence, and the aim is tofind out more about the characteristics and factors that contribute to violent behavior.
AB  - Nasilje u intimnim partnerskim odnosima predstavlja široko rasprostranjenu pojavu i najčešći je vid viktimizacije žena nasiljem u porodici. Označava kršenje ženskih ljudskih prava i oblik diskriminacije žena, a s obzirom na kompleksnost i štetnost posledica, predstavlja ozbiljan društveni problem. Predrasude i neinformisanost o nasilju nad ženama potpomažu, podstiču i opravdavaju nasilje i utiču na to kako će (i da li će uopšte) jedna sredina ili sama žena prepoznati nasilje i na njega reagovati, pa je zato saznavanje činjenica o nasilju, prepoznavanje, razotkrivanje i stalno pobijanje ovih predrasuda jedan odprvih koraka u okončavanju nasilja nad ženama. Upravo zato predmet ovog rada jesu karakteristike izvršilaca partnerskog nasilja, a cilj je da se dođe do bližih saznanja o karakteristikama ifaktorima koji doprinose nasilnom ponašanju.

AB  - The aim of the paper is scientific analysis of terms and concepts of subjective wellbeing, happiness and quality of life and their significance for social and behavioral sciences, through the application of analysis and synthesis of empirical and theoretical findings as general methods used in work. In addition, the paper analyzes empirically validated correlates and outcomes of subjective well-being, as well as two theoretical postulates that define the preconditions of well-being - the theory of satisfying needs and the theory of hedonism. The importance of concepts of wellbeing for behavioral sciences can be seen in the benefits of happiness at the individual and wider social level. Gains at the individual level are reflected in the results of numerous studies that show happiness (satisfaction with life, positive feelings and low levels of negative feelings) and success in different living domains in a positive correlation, including health, partnership and social relationships, income, work performance, and prosocial behavior. Through the concluding observations of individual studies that high levels of one's people's subjective wellbeing can lead to a more stable and productive society as a whole, the wider profit of the system from work on improving the subjective well-being of one nation is reflected.
AB  - Cilj rada jeste naučna analiza pojmova i koncepcija subjektivnog blagostanja, sreće i kvaliteta života i njihov značaj za socijalne i bihejvioralne nauke, kroz primenu analize i sinteze empirijskih i teorijskih nalaza kao opštih metoda korišćenih u radu. Pored toga, u radu su analizirani empirijski nalazi o subjektivnom blagostanju, kao i dva teorijska postulata koji definišu preduslove blagostanja - teorija zadovoljenja potreba i teorija hedonizma. Važnost pojmova blagostanja za bihejvioralne nauke se može ogledati u dobitima sreće na individualnom i šire društvenom nivou. Dobiti na individualnom nivou se ogledaju kroz rezultate brojnih studija koje pokazuju da su sreća (zadovoljstvo životom, pozitivna osećanja i nizak nivo negativnih osećanja) i uspeh u različitim životnim domenima u pozitivnoj korelaciji, uključujući zdravlje, partnerske i socijalne odnose, prihode, radni učinak i prosocijalno ponašanje. Kroz zaključna razmatranja pojedinih studija da visoki nivoi subjektivnog blagostanja jednog naroda mogu voditi ka stabilnijem i produktivnijem društvu u celosti, ogleda se šira dobit sistema od rada na unapređenju subjektivnog blagostanja jednog naroda.

AB  - Polazeći od uverenja da u savremenom svetu postoji izuzetno visok nivo uzajamnezavisnosti država i regiona, odnosno nedeljivost bezbednosti na globalnom nivou,Republika Srbija se u svom delovanju na spoljnopolitičkom planu zalaže za afirmacijukoncepta kooperativne bezbednosti. Smatrajući da se razvijanjem procesa saradnje nabilateralnom i multilateralnom planu može znatno doprineti nacionalnojbezbednosti, zalaže se za jačanje uloge Ujedinjenih nacija kao svetske organizacije,dobijanje statusa članice Evropske unije i aktivno učešće u programu NATO„Partnerstvo za mir“, uz stav o neutralnosti zemlje u odnosu na postojeće vojne saveze.Tokom prethodne decenije (naročito poslednjih nekoliko godina) evidentna jeekspanzija u pogledu upotrebe Vojske Srbije u multinacionalnim operacijama. Uzizuzetno povećanje broja angažovanih pripadnika Ministarstva odbrane i Vojske Srbije,proširen je i okvir delovanja – pored misija Ujedinjenih nacija naša zemlja učestvuje iu multinacionalnim operacijama Evropske unije.Kao jedan od osnivača Pokreta nesvrstanih zemalja, u uslovima blokovske podelesveta, Jugoslavija je među članicama Ujedinjenih nacija bila veoma zapažena zbog svogučešća u mirovnim misijama, čime je davala konkretan doprinos očuvanju mira u svetu.U izmenjenim međunarodnim okolnostima nakon „hladnog rata“, priroda sukoba u svetuse bitno promenila (sa međudržavnog, težište sukoba je pomereno na nivo unutardržava), a samim tim i način njihovog rešavanja. AB  - Starting from the belief that there is a very high level of interdependence betweencountries and regions in the modern world, that is indivisibility of security at a global level, theRepublic of Serbia, acting on its foreign policy plan, advocates affirmation of cooperativesecurity concept. Considering the fact that development of cooperation at a bilateral andmultilateral level can significantly contribute to national security, it advocates strengthening ofthe role of the UN as the world organization, getting the status of the EU member and activeparticipation in the NATO programme “Partnership for Peace”, taking into account the opinionon neutrality of the country in relation to the existing military alliances.During the previous decade (particularly the last couple of years) the expansion in termsof the Serbian Armed Forces engagement in multinational operations has been obvious. Inaddition to a significant increase in the number of the engaged Ministry of Defence and SerbianArmed Forces personnel, the engagement framework has been expanded – besides the UNmissions our country participates in the EU multinational operations, as well.As one of the founders of the Non-Aligned Movement, in the condition of the worlddivision into blocs, Yugoslavia was rather noticeable among the UN members due to itsparticipation in peacekeeping missions, thus giving a concrete contribution to peacekeeping inthe world. In the changed international circumstances after the Cold War, the nature of conflictsin the world has largely changed (the focus of conflicts has been transferred from intercountry toa level of intracountry conflicts), and the way of their resolution, as well. AB  - Background: Children with cerebral palsy (CP) are at increased risk of reduced participation. Parental evaluation of child's participation is often the decision-making factor in the process of special education and/or rehabilitation. Aims: Examine and compare home and community participation of children with CP and typical development (TD) and the associations between their parents' desire for change and participation dimensions in both settings. Methods and procedures: This cross-sectional study included a convenience sample of 110 children with CP (55% males; mean age 12.7 years) and 134 children with TD (49% males; mean age 12.1 years). The Participation and Environment Measure for Children and Youth (PEM-CY) was used. Outcomes and results: Home and community participation and environmental supportiveness of children with CP were lower compared to children with TD (p lt .001, family income controlled). The effect sizes indicated that there may be no clinically important difference in participation frequency. Parents of children with CP desired change if participation was less diverse at home, less frequent in the community, or if involvement was lower in both settings (environmental supportiveness and income controlled). Conclusions and implications: At home, parents expressed a desire for change more intensely through the range of activities, while parents of children with TD emphasized participation frequency. In the community, parents of children with CP equally perceived participation diversity and focused more on frequency and involvement.

Student's violent behavior directed against teachers in secondary school

AB  - The results of previous studies consistently suggest that the teaching profession carries a high risk of victimization in the workplace. Teachers' exposure to violence is a relatively new field of scientific research, which is why the data on the scope and nature of this problem is limited, especially in our country. This paper presents the results of research on the frequency and characteristics of students' violent behavior directed against teachers in our schools. The sample consisted of 564 secondary school teachers from all over Serbia. The APA Classroom Violence Directed Against Teachers Task Force questionnaire was used to assess victimization of teachers. Research results indicated that, during the previous school year, almost 80% of teachers had experienced violent behavior from students, most frequently in the form of obscene remarks or gestures. Victimization was significantly related to gender, age, and length of teachers' work experience. Furthermore, significant relationships were determined between victimization of teachers and school type, size, and location. The obtained findings about the prevalence and factors related to victimization of teachers can have significant implications for future research and practice.
AB  - Rezultati prethodnih istraživanja konzistentno sugerišu da profesija nastavnika nosi visok rizik viktimizacije na radnom mestu. Izloženost nastavnika nasilju je relativno novo područje naučnog proučavanja, te raspolažemo ograničenim informacijama o obimu i prirodi ovog problema, posebno u našoj zemlji. U ovom radu prezentovani su rezultati istraživanja o učestalosti i karakteristikama nasilnog ponašanja učenika prema nastavnicima u našim školama. Uzorak čine 564 nastavnika srednjih škola iz cele Srbije. Za procenu viktimizacije nastavnika korišćen je upitnik Radne grupe za nasilje u učionici usmereno prema nastavnicima Američkog udruženja psihologa (APA Classroom Violence Directed Against Teachers Task Force). Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da je tokom prethodne školske godine skoro 80 odsto nastavnika doživelo nasilno ponašanje učenika, najčešće u vidu nepristojnih reči ili gestova. Viktimizacija je značajno povezana sa polom, starošću i dužinom radnog staža nastavnika. Takođe su otkrivene značajne veze viktimizacije nastavnika sa vrstom, veličinom i lokacijom škole. Dobijeni nalazi o prevalenciji i faktorima viktimizacije nastavnika mogu imati značajne implikacije za buduća istraživanja i praksu.

AB  - Predmet istraživanja: ADHD je sve prisutniji poremećaj među decom, a
u trećini slučajeva progredira u delinkvenciju, pa je rana intervencija neophodna. No, kompleksna priroda ADHD sindroma i često prisustvo komorbidnih poremećaja otežava mogućnost iznalaženja adekvatnih formi
tretmana dece sa ADHD i stvara potrebu za intervencijama namenjenim
njihovim roditeljima i nastavnicima i širem socijalnom okruženju.
Metod: Iako postoje mnogobrojni vidovi tretmana njihova efkasnost je retko evaluirana, te su u radu razmotrene one intervencije koje se odnose na
neposredni rad sa decom i na rad sa njihovim roditeljima i nastavnicima, a
imaju preliminarnu empirijsku podršku.
Rezultati: Tretman ADHD ne predstavlja lečenje u medicinskom smislu,
već je u funkciji redukcije simptoma poremećaja pažnje, impulsivnosti i hiperaktivnosti, odnosno poboljšanja bihevioralnih i emocionalnih aspekata
funkcionisanja dece. Najčešći pristupi tretmanu su kognitivni i bihevioralni
ili njihova kombinacija; koriste se i individualne i grupne forme psihoterapije, savetovanje i treninzi u porodičnom i školskom okruženju, a u psihijatrijskoj praksi farmakoterapija.
Zaključak: U planiranju tretmana, uz sagledavanje snage i slabosti deteta
i njegove porodice, moraju se uzeti u obzir: uzrast i razvojni nivo deteta,
najizraženiji defciti koji otežavaju prilagođavanje i razvoj, pervazivnost
simtoma i njihova situaciona varijabilnost, kao i koegzistirajući poremećaji.
Generalno, najbolje rezultate obezbeđuje multimetodski pristup i prisustvo
integrisanih intervencija u različitim okruženjima.

AB  - Predmet istraživanja: U skladu sa dosadašnjom teorijom i praksom prevencije
poremećaja ponašanja, primena programa podrške maloletnim
majkama pre/posle porođaja nalazi svoje mesto. Sa druge strane, izveštava
se o sporadičnoj primeni intervencija usmerenih na mlade očeve (u adolescenciji),
njihove probleme i potrebe. Istraživački nalazi ukazuju na to da
mladi očevi u odnosu na njihove vršnjake koji nisu očevi češće imaju loš
školski uspeh, nizak socioekonomski status, zloupotrebljavaju psihoaktivne
supstance, ispoljavaju delinkventno ponašanje i slično. Očinstvo uz to nosi
čitav niz problema, kako ekonomskih, tako i onih koji se tiču komunikacije
sa partnerkom, multigeneracijskom porodičnom strukturom, stigmatizacijom
od strane zajednice i drugo. Posebno, izdvajaju se problemi motivisanja
mladih očeva za učešće u različitim socijalnim programima.
Metod: Cilj istraživanja predstavlja pregled i analizu naučne literature o programima
podrške koji su namenjeni mladim očevima i njihove evaluacije.
Rezultati: Rezultati evaluacionih studija ukazuju na to da su mladi očevi
koji su prošli programe podrške uključeniji, angažovaniji i pozitivno emocionalno
reaktivniji u odnosu prema 1svojoj deci u poređenju sa kontrolnom
grupom. Preporučuje se da bi programi usmereni na podršku mladim očevima
trebalo da uključe i njihove partnerke, da traju do 5 nedelja, da budu
zasnovani na individualnom pre nego grupnom radu, da uključuju i pomoć
pri zaposlenju i drugo.
Zaključak: Prenatalni programi unapređivanja veština roditeljstva namenjeni
mladim očevima i majkama ostvaruju značajne rezultate.
AB  - Research subject: In accordance with current theory and practice of the
prevention of conduct disorders, prebirth/afterbirth programs for underage
mothers find their place. On the other hand, there are sporadic implementation
of interventions aimed at young fathers (in adolescence), their problems and
needs. The research findings indicate that young fathers in relation to their peers
which are not fathers tend to have poor academic success, low socioeconomic
status, substance abuse, delinquent behavior, etc. Fatherhood also carries a range
of problems, both economic and those related to communication with partner,
multi-generational family structure, stigmatization by the community and more.
In particular, it’s hard to motivate young fathers to participate in social programs.
Method: The research is aimed to summarize the scientific knowledge on young
fathers support programs and evaluate their main effects.
Results: The results of evaluation studies suggest that young fathers who have
gone through parenting support programs are more involved, more engaged
and positively emotionally reactive in relation to their children compared
to the control group. It is recommended that programs aimed at supporting
young fathers should include their partners, to last up to 5 weeks to be based on
individual rather than group work, to include assistance with employment, etc.
Conclusion: Prebirth parenting skills improvement programs designed for young
fathers and mothers achieve significant results.

Community participation and family quality of life – comparative study of children with cerebral palsy and children with typical development

AB  - Children with developmental disabilities, including cerebral palsy (CP), often
experience restriction in community participation. The previous empirical
and theoretical consideration of community participation of children with
CP did not take into account the family quality of life (FQOL) as a potential
factor that could have affected the participation of these children. The aim of
this study was to examine the association between community participation
of children with CP and FQOL and draw comparisons with their peers with
typical development (TD). The sample of this descriptive, cross-sectional
and comparative research consisted of 109 families with children with CP
and 133 families with children with TD, both genders, aged between seven
and 18 years. The Participation and Environment Measure for Children and
Youth (PEM-CY) and The Beach Center Family Quality of Life Scale (Beach
FQOL Scale) were used. The Spearman’s rank-order correlation coefficients
were calculated to test the strength of a relationship between two sets of
data for each group separately. The results indicate interrelation between
the subjective dimension of community participation as expressed through
parental desire for change, and both parenting aspect of family life (ρ=-.24)
and social and emotional support within the family emotional well-being
(ρ=-.20) in the group of children with CP. However, a greater number of
statistically significant correlations is confirmed in the group of children
with TD. Comparing the distribution of results between the two groups, the
most noticeable is the absence of connection between FQOL and diversity
and frequency of community participation in the group of children with
CP, which is confirmed in the group of children with TD. The conclusion underlines that the reflection of changes that affect family life after the birth
of a child with CP can be seen in various aspects of FQOL.
