dc.description.abstract | Domestic and foreing authors agree that if children with mild intellectual disability are adequately stimulated then they express the same level of creativity as typically developing children. The main aim of this paper is to examine the relation between creative potential and gender in children with mild intellectual disability. The sample consisted of 60 children with mild intellectual disability of both genders, aged between 8 and 16, with no neurological and combined disorders. The Test for Creative Thinking Drawing Production was used to assess creativity in children with mild intellectual disability. The obtained results indicate a statistically significant difference to the advantage of girls, when assesing to crativity criteria (fexibility and innovation.
