Abstract
The analysis of research and professional practice show that the process of detection of lying in children in the criminal context is very complex. Children are especially sensitive category of victims and witnesses in criminal proceedings. Therefore, interviewing children and the problem of determining the credibility of the testimony should be given special attention to scientific attention. The problem of lying in children has been the subject of various studies that have examined the frequency of problems, strategies and lye detection of children in relation to age, gender, interviews and other features. The aim of this paper is to consider interviewing of children in criminal proceedings, lie detection by experts and review of current instruments for assessing symptoms of lying. The most popular instruments for the lye detection in children are: Rapid Judgments in Assessing Verbal and Nonverbal Cues, Criteria Based Content Analysis (CBCA) and Reality Monitoring (RM).
Deca spadaju u posebno osetljivu kategoriju žrtava i svedoka u krivičnom postupku.
