Team structure and organization in implementation of augmentative and alternative communication

Abstract

Two important support components that are missing in successful application of AAC intervention (and in the low in most countries which have that low), are family involvement and team development. These two components are essential in the provision of comprahensive services that promote the development of life-long support system for the AAC user. There are a variety of different service delivery models for the persons in need of AAC support. The foundation of these supports is the AAC team. There are different structures team and for AAC intervention the best results are achieved by collaborative structured team.

Dve važne komponente podrške koje nedostaju u uspešnom primenjivanju AAK intervencije (i u zakonima većine zemalja koje ovakve zakone imaju), jesu angažovanost porodice i razvoj tima. Ove dve komponente su neophodne za obezbeđivanje razumne pomoći, kojom se promoviše razvoj sistema doživotne podrške za AAK korisnika. Postoji niz različitih modela u pružanju pomoći osobama kojima je potrebna AAK podrška. Osnova te podrške je AAK tim. Postoje timovi različitih struktura, a za AAK intervenciju najbolje rezultate postiže tim integrisane strukture.
