The purpose of the article is to clarify one segment of Freud’s thinking which contributed to better understanding of society and social deviation related human behavior. The article indicates the influence of Freud’s psychoanalytical thinking on the two main, though totally opposed and "confronted" theoretically ideological streams within the theory of social deviation: structurally functionalistic and socially anthropological ones. The article indicates what is different in the inspiration derived from Freud’s ideas, which of his ideas were used in these theoretical paradigms and in what manner they influenced the construction of their theoretical constructs.en
