Analiza stavova zdravstvenih radnika i zdravstvenih saradnika prema osobama sa invaliditetom

Abstract

Испитивање ставова здравствених радника и здравствених сарадника према особама са инвалидитетом важно је због снажне повезаности између ставова и понашања, као и њиховог утицаја на ток и исходе рехабилитације ових особа, успешну интеграцију у друштвену заједницу и активно и равноправно учешће у свим аспектима друштвеног живота. Негативни ставови продубљују сегрегацију и дискриминацију ових особа, а такође имају велики утицај на њихово самопоштовање и узроковање осећања кривице, срама и инфериорности, како код особа са инвалидитетом, тако и код њихових породица. Основни циљ овог истраживања био је испитивање ставова здравствених радника и здравствених сарадника запослених у примарној и секундарној здравственој заштити према особама са инвалидитетом. Узорак су чинили лекари, остали здравствени радници и здравствени сарадници оба пола, просечног узраста 44,2 година, запослени у примарном и секундарном нивоу здравствене заштите. Резултати нашег истраживања указују на статистички значајне разлике у ставовима према особама са инвалидитетом у зависности од професије и нивоа образовања испитаника. Позитивнији ставови према особама са инвалидитетом уочавају се код испитаника факултетског образовања, те код лекара. Можемо рећи да је поред образовања здравствених радника и здравствених срадника, за разумевање и квалитетан медицински третман ОСИ од велике важности да лекари (као и остали здравствени радници и здравствени сарадници) пажљивије слушају и уважавају информације које добијају од пацијената о сопственом инвалидитету, уз индивидуализацију приступа и сагледавање појединца као таквог, уместо фокусирања искључиво на његов инвалидитет.

Examination of the attitudes of health workers and health associates towards individuals with disabilities is important due to the strong connection between attitudes and behavior, as well as their influence on the course and outcomes of rehabilitation of these individuals, successful integration into the social community and active and equal participation in all aspects of social life. Negative attitudes deepen the segregation and discrimination of these individuals, and also have a great impact on their self-esteem and cause feelings of guilt, shame and inferiority, both in persons with disabilities and in their families. The main goal of this research was to examine the attitudes of health workers and health associates employed in primary and secondary health care towards people with disabilities and possible differences in relation to gender, years of work experience, age, level of health care in which they are employed, profession and level of education. . The sample consisted of doctors, other health workers (nurses/technicians, physiotherapists, dieticians) and health associates (psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, social workers) of both sexes, mean age 44,2 years, employed in the primary and secondary level of health care. Тhe results of this research indicate statistically significant differences regarding the profession and level of education of the respondents. More positive attitudes towards persons with disabilities are observed among respondents with university education and a doctor. According to the researches we mentioned, we conclude that in addition to education, for the understanding and quality medical treatment of PWDs, it is of great importance that doctors (as well as other health workers and health associates) listen more carefully and appreciate the information they receive from patients about their own disability, with individualized access and seeing the individual as such, instead of focusing exclusively on his disability.
