Razvojni profil učenika sa sindromom fragilnog H hromozoma

Abstract

У новијој литератури проналазимо велики број студија које су се бавилe специфичностима развоја деце и омладине са синдромом фрагилног Х хромозома (СФХ). На основу прегледа истраживања, описане су карактеристике когнитивног функционисања, комуникације, социјалних вештина, сензорног развоја, понашања и моторике код особа са СФХ. Такође, разматране су и разлике у полу, узрасту и менталном развоју. Аутори усмерени на испитивање ове популације примећују неусклађен развојни профил у односу на њихове интелектуалне способности. Анализом истраживања закључујемо да је интелектуална ометеност главно обележје особа са СФХ, развој језика испод нивоа когнитивног функционисања, детектован несклад између фине и групе моторике (са већим потешкоћама у обављању грубих моторних радњи), уочено избегавање социјалних интеракција, нарушен сензорни развој и пронађен карактеристичан образац проблематичног понашања. Велики број особа са СФХ испуњава дијагностичке критеријуме за аутизам, а проблеми у функционисању су израженији уколико су ова два поремећаја удружена. У раду су детаљније разматране специфичности развојног потенцијала ученика основношколског узраста са СФХ.

In the recent literature, we find a large number of studies that dealt with the specifics of the development of children and youth with fragile X chromosome syndrome (FXS). Based on the research review, the characteristics of cognitive functioning, communication, social skills, sensory development, behavior and motor skills in persons with FXS are described. Also, differences in gender, age and mental development were considered. Authors focused on examining this population note a mismatched developmental profile in relation to their intellectual abilities. Through the analysis of the research, we conclude that intellectual disability is the main characteristic of people with FXS, language development below the level of cognitive functioning, a detected discrepancy between fine and motor skills (with greater difficulties in performing gross motor actions), observed avoidance of social interactions, impaired sensory development and a characteristic pattern of problematic behavior was found. A large number of people with FXS meet the diagnostic criteria for autism, and problems in functioning are more pronounced if these two disorders are combined. The paper discusses in more detail the specifics of the developmental potential of elementary school-age students with FXS.
