dc.description.abstractRad ili zaposlenost ima značajnu vrednost u životima odraslih osoba sa in- telektualnom ometenošću. Uprkos velikom napretku u oblasti zapošljavanja ove populacije još uvek postoje mnogobrojne prepreke koje ometaju njihov pri- stup socijalnom i radnom domenu. Prevazilaženje barijera može se obezbediti razumnim adaptacijama radnih mesta, čija je centralna komponenta upotre- ba asistivne tehnologije. Cilj rada je da se pregledom dostupne literature iz poslednje dve decenije predstave benefiti upotrebe različitih sredstava asi- stivne tehnologije kod osoba sa intelektualnom ometenošću u radnoj sredini. Upotreba širokog spektra različitih uređaja, sistema, aplikacija i softvera omogućava poboljšavanja veština organizacije vremena, povećanja radnih per- formansi, efikasnosti, tačnosti i samostalnosti u izvršavanju radnih za- dataka. Primena asistivne tehnologije kod odraslih osoba sa intelektualnom ometenošću u radnoj sredini može doprineti prevazilaženju unutrašnjih i spoljašnjih barijera, povećati zadovoljstvo ovih osoba u radu, ali i smanjiti troškove i povećati profite preduzeća.sr
dc.description.abstractEmployment has a significant value in the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities. Despite the great progress in employment of this population there are still a lot of barriers that hinder their access to the social and work domain. Overcoming of the barriers can be ensured by reasonable workplace accommodations, which the central component of the use is assistive technology. The aim of this paper is to review the available literature from the last two decades to present the benefits of using different assistive technology tools for people with intellectual disabilities in the work environment. The use of wide range of different devices, systems, applications and software enables the improvement of time-management skills, increase of work performances, efficiency, accuracy and independence in accomplishing the work tasks. The use of assistive technology with adults with intellectual disabilities in the work environment can contribute to overcoming internal and external barriers, increase the satisfaction with work of these persons, but also reduce costs and increase the company’s profit.sr
