Izazovi i problemi roditelja dece sa smetnjama u razvoju

Abstract

Циљ овог рада је био да се утврде проблеми и изазови са којима се суочавају родитељи деце са сметњама у развоју. Узорак истраживања чинило је 97 родитеља деце са сметњама у развоју, оба пола (91,5% мајки), просечне старости 49,6 година (СД=5,66). За потребе истраживања креиран је упитник који поред демографских варијабли садржи и 20 ајтема који су намењени испитивању постојања проблема и изазова у животу родитеља деце са сметњама у развоју, а на које се одговара помоћу четворостепене скале Ликертовог типа (1-уопште се не слажем, до 4-у потпуности се слажем). За анализу података коришћен је статистички пакет SPSS 21 for Windows, те мере дескриптивне статистике, хи-квадрат тест, Ман-Витнијев U тест и Крускал- Волисов тест. Најважнији резултати указују на то да се родитељи деце са сметњама у развоју сусрећу са проблемима и изазовима који су повезани са: материјалним стањем, јавним услугама и институцијама, као и тешкоће и изазови са којима се сусрећу родитељи у оквиру личног функционисања у пословном, социјалном и другим аспектима живота. У нашем друштву је присутна потреба за формирањем и одржавањем услуга у заједници за децу са сметњама и њихове породице, примарно родитеље, које ће бити усмерене на проблеме и тешкоће, и уједно бити одрживе, квалитетне и на квалитетан начин реализоване.

The aim of this research was to determine the problems and challenges faced by parents of children with disabilities. The research sample consisted of 97 parents of children with disabilities, both sexes (91.5% of mothers), with an average age of 49.6 years (SD = 5.66). For the needs of the research, a questionnaire was created which, in addition to demographic variables, also contains 20 items intended to examine the existence of problems and challenges in the lives of parents of children with disabilities, and which are answered using a four-point Likert-type scale (1-I completely disagree, up to 4-I completely agree). For the purposes of data analysis, the statistical package SPSS 21 for Windows and measures of descriptive statistics, Chi-square test, Man-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis test were used. The most important results indicate that parents of children with disabilities face problems and challenges related to: financial situation, public services and institutions, as well as difficulties and challenges faced by parents in the context of personal functioning in business, social and other aspects of life. In our society, there is a need for the formation and maintenance of community services for children with disabilities and their families, primarily parents, which will be focused on problems and difficulties, and at the same time be sustainable, high quality and implemented in a quality manner.
