Brutal socialization: Debarbieux's researches of violence in the French schools
Brutalna socijalizacija - Debarbjeova istraživanja nasilja u francuskim školama
Abstract
Surveys that E. Debarbieux conducted within l'Observatoire European de la violence scolaire showed that in great number of pupils attending French schools gradually developed a strong resentment toward that institution and, as time went by, that resentment turned into a real anti-scholar and anti-institutional culture. However, real roots of that culture are to be found in growing social-economic unequalities of french society so it shouldn't be surprising that school violence and scholar youth delinquency are spatialy concentrated in the so called 'établissements sensibles' (riskful schools) located in poor quarters at the outskirts of cities, that is, quarters that growingly assume characteristics of ghettos. Yet, in creating and spreading of certain types of school violence and youth delinquency in schools, accomplice is school organization itself which gives its contribution to accumulation of micro-violences. These micro-violences actually are the weft of everyday oppression, and ...reproduct, and what is more important, increase inequalities in a larger society, especially the social inequality of chances to become a victim.
Istraživanja koja je Debarbje (E. Debarbieux) sproveo u okviru Evropske opservacije za nasilje u školskoj sredini pokazala su da se kod značajnog broja učenika francuskih škola postepeno razvila snažna odbojnost prema toj instituciji i da se ta odbojnost vremenom pretvorila u pravu antiškolsku ili širu antiinstitucionalnu kulturu. Međutim, pravi koreni te kulture kriju se u rastućim društveno-ekonomskim nejednakostima francuskog društva, tako da ni najmanje ne iznenađuje što su nasilje u školama i školska delinkvencija prostorno koncentrisani u takozvanim etablissements sensibles ('kritičnim' školskim ustanovama), u siromašnim periferijskim četvrtima koje u sve većoj meri poprimaju obeležja geta. A opet, u kreiranju i širenju određenih oblika nasilja i delinkvencije u školskoj sredini, saučesnik je i sama školska organizacija koja daje svoj doprinos akumulaciji mikronasilja. Ta mikronasilja u stvari su potka svakodnevnog ugnjetavanja, a reprodukuju i što je još važnije uvećavaju nejedn...akosti u širem društvu, posebno nejednakost izgleda da se postane žrtva.
