Abstract
The overall objective of this research was to assess the attitudes of managers from Serbia toward employment of deaf persons. Sample is defined by the criteria of random selection of respondents, ie. 180 managers of state and private business organizations. We used Questionnaire for assess attitudes of employers towards hiring persons with disabilities. In order to determine the significance of the relationship between independent and dependent variables were used nonparametric tests (Kruskal Wallis test and Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test) and correlation coefficient. The results suggest that knowledge, social contacts or experience in working with deaf persons act positively on the attitudes of leaders in Belgrade and the interior. The direct contact allows you to learn more about the working and social skills of deaf persons and realistically evaluate their results.
