Abstract
The aim of this research is to make comparison between the parents of children with disabilities and parents of typically developing children regarding the level of their satisfaction with the quality of health care provided for their children and to rank factors influencing the quality of health care for children with disabilities. The sample consisted of parents of 91 children, ranging in age from 4 to 7 years (M=5.63, SD=1.05), 37 of which were children with disabilities (Mage=5.86, SD=.93), and 54 were children with typical development (Mage=5.48, SD=1.11). In addition to demographic data collected through the specific questionnaire, the reports of parents on performance of health care for their children were also collected by recording their answers on the scale "Quality of health care for preschool children“. It was established that education level of parents influences significantly the level of their satisfaction with the quality of health care for their children. Si...gnificant difference between the parents of children with disabilities and parents of the children with typical development regarding their level of general satisfaction with the quality of the health care system for children was not recorded, but also regarding the perceived quality of the procedure for making appointments, waiting time to see the physician and relationship of physicians with the parents and their children.
