Assessment of abilities which are indispensable for academic achievement in children with learning disabilities

Procena sposobnosti neophodnih za uspešno ovladavanje akademskim veštinama kod dece sa smetnjama u učenju

Abstract
This paper reports the results of a study of the abilities which are indispensable for academic achievement in children with learning disabilities. The sample consists of 50 subjects with learning disabilities, aged from 8 to 11. For the assessment of abilities which are important for academic achievement, we used ACADIA Test of Developmental Abilities. Results of the study point at difficulties of all assessed domains of abilities, especially tasks which demand perceptive and language abilities.
U ovom radu su prikazani rezultati analize sposobnosti neophodnih za uspešno ovladavanje akademskim veštinama kod dece sa smetnjama u učenju. Uzorak čini 50-oro dece sa smetnjama u učenju, starosti 8-11 godina. Za procenu sposobnosti neophodnih za uspešno ovladavanje akademskim veštinama korišćen je ACADIA test razvojnih sposobnosti. Rezultati istraživanja ukazuju na teškoće u svim ispitanim domenima ACADIA testa, posebno u zadacima koji zahtevaju složene perceptivne i jezičke sposobnosti.
