Abstract
Dysarthria is one of the most persistent communication disorders in traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients. Dysarthric disorders following TBI vary widely in terms of type and severity. The features of spastic, ataxic, hypocinetic, flaccid and mixed dysartrias are described in this paper. The perceptual, acoustic and physiological features of dysathria following TBI are pointed out. Finally, treatment methods of respiratory, laryngeal, velopharingeal, articulatory and prosodic dysfunction are presented.
Dizatrični poremećaj varira u obliku i težini.
