Solving visual tasks in the teaching of designing culture with low vision children
Rešavanje vizuelnih zadataka u nastavi likovne kulture sa slabovidom decom
Abstract
The establishing of modern typhlodidactic basis of teaching of designing culture with visually impaired children was significantly based in our work on the research of the structure and level of visual efficacy of visually impaired pupils regarding their success in designing. This research represents a part of the research of visual efficacy of low vision children in teaching process (Eškirović 2002). It was conducted by means of the application of pedagogic procedure for the evaluation of visual efficacy in low vision children 'Look and think' checklist, whose authors are Chapman, Tobin, Tooze & Moss (London,1989) on a sample of low vision children (72) i.e. 69 subjects). It was found out that: 1) Low vision children of older primary-school age with higher marks in designing culture realize significantly higher achievements at visual efficacy test 'Look and Think' than those with lower marks in designing culture; 2) Low vision children with higher marks in designing culture have more ...developed perception of movements, the eye-hand coordination and the efficacy in pairing of bi-dimensional pictures; 3) Visual training with special attention to visual skills which we stressed in this research according to the level of correlation with the success in the teaching of designing culture should have an important place in the teaching process of designing culture with low vision schoolchildren.
Utvrđivanje savremenih tiflodidaktičkih osnova nastave likovne kulture sa slabovidim učenicima značajnim delom bazirali smo na istraživanju strukture i nivoa vizuelne efikasnosti slabovidih učenika s obzirom na školski uspeh u nastavi likovne kulture. Ovo istraživanje predstavlja deo istraživanja vizuelne efikasnosti slabovide dece u nastavi (Eškirović,B.2002). Sprovedeno je primenom pedagoške procedure za procenu vizuelne efikasnosti kod slabovide dece 'Gledaj i misli' (LOOK AND THINK CHECKLIST) čiji su autori Chapman, Tobin, Tooze & Moss (London,1989) na odgovarajućem uzorku slabovide dece (72, odnosno 69 ispitanika). Utvrđeno je da: 1) Slabovidi učenici starijeg osnovoškolskog uzrasta sa višim ocenama iz likovne kulture ostvaruju značajno više postignuće na testu vizuelne efikasnosti 'Gledaj i misli' od slabovidih učenika sa nižim ocenama iz likovne kulture; 2) slabovidi učenici sa višim ocenama iz likovne kulture imaju razvijeniju vizuelnu percepciju pokreta, koordinaciju okoruka i... efikasnost u sparivanju dvodimenzionalnih prikaza; 3) Važno mesto u savremenim tiflodidaktičkim osnovama nastave likovne kulture sa slabovidim učenicima treba da ima vizuelni trening u kome bi se posebna pažnja morala posvetiti vizuelnim veštinama koje smo u uvom istraživanju izdvojili po nivou korelacije sa uspehom u nastavi likovne kulture.
