Abstract
The goal of research is to determine math anxiety in children with mild intellectual disabilities and to determine the differences between boys and girls in the expression of fear of math. The sample consists 34 students with mild intellectual disabilities, from 15-16 years of age [15,0-15,5(28,8%)], both sexes (27,3% boys and 24,2% girls), with no neurological and multiple disabilities. Math anxiety is evaluated with Child Math Anxiety Questionnaire – CMAQ (Ramirez, Gunderson, Levine,& Beilock, 2013). Item analysis shows that assigning of an unknown math task is growing math anxiety and vice verse. The obtained results in testing the relation between the estimated variables indicate that there are no statistically significant differences in respondents with mild intellectual disabilities of different sexes in the manifestation of math anxiety (t=1.496, p=0.145)
