Abstract
U radu smo pažnju posvetili interpretacijama pojma poslušnosti u kontekstu odnosa roditelja i dece. Kroz kvalitativno istraživanje tretirali smo metodološki problem validnosti u kvantitativnim empirijskim istraživanjima. Pažnju smo posvetili iskazu „Najvažnija stvar za decu je učiti ih poslušnosti prema roditeljima”, koji je korišćen kao indikator autoritarnosti u nizu domaćih kvantitativnih istraživanja vrednosnih orijentacija. Nalazi našeg kvalitativnog metodološkog istraživanja pokazuju veoma interesantan odnos ispitanika prema tumačenju pojma poslušnosti. Tumačenje pojma poslušnosti u iskazu usko je povezano sa odgovorima na Likertovoj skali. Ovakvi nalazi otvaraju dodatna načelna pitanja u pogledu pretpostavki koje indikatori moraju odnosno ne moraju zadovoljavati.

In the qualitative research, we treated the methodological problem of validity in quantitative empirical studies. We specially focused on the statement “The best thing for children is to teach them how to be obedient to their parents”, which was used as an indicator of authoritarian sample in the sequence of domestic quantitative types of research of value orientations. Findings of our qualitative methodological research show very interesting relation of respondents towards the interpretation of the term obedience. Interpreting the term obedience in the statement is closely connected to the replies in the Likert scale. These findings open additional general questions referring to the assumptions that the indicators must or needn’t fulfil.
