The paper treats the relationship between mild intellectual disability and cognitive achievement with respect of the quality of development which determine the conceptual functioning of the tested children. The paper also reflect the possibility to change the curriculum same as the professional role of the special educator in respect of prevention the possible burn out syndrome in this area of professional interest.
U radu je tretiran i razmatran problem saznajnog postignuća dece s lakom intelektualnom ometenošću, posmatran kroz interakciju različitih funkcionalno i razvojno specifičnih sposobnosti koje determinišu kvalitet saznajnog postignuća dece ispitanog uzorka. Rad takođe ukazuje u skladu sa dobijenim rezultatima istraživanja na potrebu izmene profesionalne uloge stručnjaka koji se bave edukacijom i rehabilitacijom ove dece uz mogućnosti prevencije sindroma profesionalnog sagorevanja u ovoj oblasti profesionalnog angažovanja.
