Abstract
The paper treats the problem of the cognitive development and functioning of the children with mild mental retardation. The research also treats the possibility of implementation of new modern education and rehabilitation strategies in treatment of the developmental disabilities at the population of the children with intellectual disabilities. The paper discuss the possibility of implementation of new methods such as Montesory method, computer technology methods, method of sensomotor therapy etc.
U radu je tretiran problem razvojnog postignuća i ponašanja dece sa smetnjama intelektualnog razvoja i mogućnosti primene multimodalno orijentisanog tretmana, usmerenog ka primeni novih metodskih postupaka u edukaciji i rehabilitaciji ove dece. Uzorak od 124 ispitanika ispitan je Coners skalom procene ponašanja. Ukazano je na bihejvioralne specifičnosti tretiranog uzorka i mogućnosti primene novih metoda u tretmanu kao i prevenciji i edukaciji razvojnih smetnji i smetnji ponašanja ove populacije dece.
