dc.description.abstractScientifically based planning of the process of prevention is a basic prerequisite for the development and advancement of an effective system of prevention of disturbance of behavior in children and juveniles. To plan prevention in a community means a systematical, organized and continual process of designing of overall prevention activities in a certain field within a certain period of time. It is realized through a number of stages which successively follow each other and designate directly the order of activities from the initial to the final point of prevention activity. Beside the conceptual designation of the process of planning and description of development of ideas on planning within the prevention field the article also mentions the basic postulates of the three leading models of planning of prevention within community, namely: Communities that Care System, Five Steps of Strategic Prevention Planning and Seven Steps to the Successful Prevention Program. Each model supplies a description of goals and tasks of each potential step of effective planning on the basis of which the conclusions on the basic stages of protection planning within community are stipulated in the finishing part of the article.en
