Abstract
Deprivation of a range of information and of backup from outside reflects rather negatively in the development of the mobility and spatial orientation in the children with severe forms of visual impairment. The adequate organization of activities and the environment from the very birth gives the most optimum contribution in overcoming this problem. The way to an adequate organization is traced by having good knowledge of the developmental specificities of this very heterogenous population and by skilled making of individual family service plans.
