Značaj pažnje za usvajanje nastavnih sadržaja kod učenika s teškoćama u mentalnom razvoju

Abstract

Пажња је способност индивидуе да усмери своју менталну активност на одређене активности, појаве или предмете, има значајну улогу приликом обраде информација и селекцији стимулуса. Битна је приликом извршавања свакодневних активности као и за когнитивни развој и учење. Основне компоненте пажње су селективност, одржавање, флексибилност и дељење пажње и оне представљају услов остваривања ка циљу усмереног понашања. Циљ рада је да се на основу анализиране литературе укаже на значај пажње за усвајање наставних садржаја код ученика с тешкоћама у менталном развоју. За претрагу литературе коришћен је претраживач Google Scholar. Претраживана је литература на српском и на енглеском језику. Сва истраживања која су описана у раду указују на значајну улогу развоја пажње за усвајање наставних садржаја код ученика с тешкоћама у менталном развоју. Посебно се истакла компонента селективности пажње као значајна за академски успех.

Attention is the ability of an individual to focus his mental activity on specific activities, phenomena or objects, it plays a significant role in the processing of information and the selection of stimuli. It is essential for carrying out daily activities as well as for cognitive development and learning. The basic components of attention are selectivity, maintenance, flexibility and sharing of attention, and they represent the condition for achieving goal-directed behavior. The aim of the paper is to point out, based on the analyzed literature, the importance of attention for the acquisition of teaching content by students with mental development difficulties. The Google Scholar search engine was used for the literature search. Literature in Serbian and English was searched. All the research described in the paper showed the significant role of attention development for the acquisition of teaching content in students with mental development difficulties. The component of selectivity of attention was particularly highlighted as important for academic success.
