Introduction: Sight plays very important role in receiving and processing information about the world around us. The visual system is responsible for receiving and processing visual information. Difficutties with visual functioning are often present among the children with disabilities.
The aim of the research: is to determine the visual functioning among the children with intellectual and multiple disabilities.
Sample: The sample consisted of 30 respondents, 18 of them with intellectual disabilities and 12 with multiple disabilities.
Methods and material: A short version of red form of Educational Potential Assessment Protocol was used for collecting the data.
Results: Based on the results obtained, it can be seen that children with multiple disabilities have a greater problem in visual functioning than children with intellectual disabilities.
Discussion: It is observed according to the obtained results, that visual functioning is significantly more affected when child has more t...han one impairment (hearing impairment, motor impairment…) that is, when it has multiple disabilities.
