dc.description.abstract | Iako se prevladavanje emocija u tipičnoj populaciji intenzivno izučava poslednjih nekoliko decenija, nema dovoljno istraživanja koja se tiču ove sposobnosti u populaciji osoba sa intelektualnom ometenošću. Cilj ovog istraživanja jeste da utvrdi kako adolescenti sa lakom intelektualnom ometenošću prevazilaze negativne emocije, odnosno da li postoji razlika između primene konstruktivnih i nekonstruktivnih strategija pri suočavanju sa emocijama besa, straha, tuge i stida. Uzorak obuhvata 70 adolescenata sa lakom intelektuanom ometenošću, oba pola, uzrasta od 15 do 25 godina (AS = 17,91; SD = 1,77). Za potrebe procene sposobnosti prevazilaženja negativnih emocija primenjen je Zadatak savladavanja negativnih emocija (Saarni, 1997b). Dobijeni rezultati pokazuju da su ispitanici značajno češće koristili konstruktivne strategije pri prevazilaženju emocija stida, tuge i straha, dok su prilikom prevladavanja emocije besa u većoj meri koristili nekonstruktivne strategije, ali bez evidentiranja statistički značajne razlike. Najčešće korišćena strategija na zadacima stida, straha i tuge bila je rešavanje problema. U situaciji besa, ispitanici su u najvećoj meri pribegavali strategiji eksternalizacije. | |
dc.description.abstract | Although coping with emotions in the typical population has been intensively studied in the last few decades, there is insufficient research on this ability in the population of people with intellectual disabilities. The aim of this study is to determine how adolescents with mild intellectual disability cope with negative emotions, or whether there is a difference between applying constructive and non-constructive strategies when dealing with emotions of anger, fear, sadness, and shame. The sample includes 70 adolescents with mild intellectual disability, of both sexes, aged 15 to 25 years (M = 17.91; SD = 1.77). For the purpose of assessing the ability to manage negative emotions, the Coping with aversive feelings was applied (Saarni, 1997b). The obtained results indicate that the respondents used constructive strategies in coping with emotions of shame, sadness and fear far more often, whereas when feeling angry they chose non-constructive strategies to a greater extent, but with no statistically significant difference. The most commonly used coping strategy in tasks related to shame, fear and sadness was problem solving. In situations of anger, the respondents overwhelmingly chose the externalizing coping strategy. | |
