dc.description.abstract | The aim of the study designed in this way is moving toward evaluation of neuropsychological functions of school age children with intellectual disabilities and which are the fundamental for arithmetic operations: addition and subtraction, as well as identification of most important among them. The main purpose of the study is related to the fact that is nedeed to identify most important particular function which are directly linked with basic arithmetical operations, as well as to determine the which one is most effective. One hundred twenty-four participants with intellectual disabilities, aged 8-16 were subjected to the Twenty Questions Test, Stroop test, Beter-Crain test, LAP and Test orientation-time. The results that we got point out that statistically significantly correlation between set of variables and estimated basic arithmetical operations. Attention ability is most relevant for addition operation, and executive functions are most significant for succesful subtraction operation in chidleren with mild intellectual disabilities.
