Percepcija roditeljske podrške u karijernom razvoju učenika sa intelektualnom ometenošću

AB  - Uvod: Roditelji predstavljaju primarni izvor savetovanja, informisanja i posredovanja u karijernom razvoju dece. Kod osoba sa intelektualnom ometenošću tokom svih faza karijernog razvoja neophodna je roditeljska podrška, a posebno je važna u periodu profesionalnog osposobljavanja za rad. Cilj: Osnovni cilj rada je utvrditi kako učenici sa intelektualnom ometenošću percipiraju podršku roditelja tokom obrazovanja za izabrano zanimanje, sa posebnim osvrtom na neke faktore porodičnog i školskog okruženja. Metod: Uzorkom je obuhvaćeno 155 ispitanika sa lakom intelektualnom ometenošću koji se profesionalno osposobljavaju za rad u školama za učenike sa smetnjama u razvoju. U istraživanju je primenjena Skala roditeljske podrške u razvoju karijere (The Career-Related Parental Support Scale) koja procenjuje percepciju adolescenata o podršci roditelja, kroz oblasti instrumentalne pomoći, emocionalne podrške, verbalnog ohrabrivanja i modeliranja u vezi sa karijerom. Rezultati: Na uzorku u celini ispitanici percipiraju najveću podršku roditelja u domenu verbalnog ohrabrivanja, a najmanju u modelovanju u vezi sa karijerom. Veću podršku svojih roditelja u karijernom razvoju uočavaju oni koji žive u porodičnom okruženju sa oba roditelja, kao i oni čiji su roditelji obrazovaniji, zatim učenici starijih razreda i oni koji postižu odličan uspeh, dok razlike u odnosu na pol ispitanika nisu pronađene. Zaključak: Analizom dobijenih rezultata ukazano je na određene nedostatke u oblasti karijernog vođenja i savetovanja učenika sa intelektualnom ometenošću. Dobijeni nalazi upućuju na potrebu unapređivanja saradnje sa porodicama učenika na tom polju i njihovo osnaživanje u vezi sa načinima na koji mogu doprineti karijernom uspehu dece. Takođe, istaknuta je neophodnost proširivanja saznanja iz oblasti karijernog razvoja za dublje razumevanje ključnih problema u ovoj oblasti.
AB  - Parents	are	the	primary	source	of	advice,	information,	and	mediation	in	children’s	career	development.	For	persons	with	intellectual	disabilities,	parental	support	is	necessary	during	all	stages	of	career	development,	and	it	is	especially	important	in	the	period	of	vocational	education.	Objectives. The	main	goal	of	the	paper	was	to	determine	how	students	with	intellectual	disabilities	perceived	their	parents’	support	during	education	for	a	chosen	occupation,	with	special	attention	to	some	factors	of	the	family	and	school	environments.	Methodes. The	sample	consisted	of	155	participants	with	mild	intellectual	disability	undergoing	professional	training	in	schools	for	students	with	developmental	disabilities.	The	Career-Related	Parental	Support	Scale	was	used	in	the	research.	It	was	designed	to	assess	adolescent	perceptions	of	parental	support	across	the	domains	of	instrumental	assistance,	emotional	support,	verbal	encouragement,	and	career-related	modeling.	Results. In	the	sample	as	a	whole,	the	participants	perceived	the	greatest	parental	support	in	the	domain	of	verbal	encouragement	and	the	least	in	career-related	modeling.	Greater	support	from	their	parents	in	career	development	was	perceived	by	those	who	lived	in	a	family	environment	with	both	parents,	as	well	as	those	whose	parents	were	more	educated,	compared	to	students	of	senior	classes	and	those	who	achieved	excellent	results,	while	no	differences	were	found	in	relation	to	the	gender.	Conclusion. The	analysis	of	the	obtained	results	indicated	certain	deficiencies	in	the	field	of	career	guidance	and	counseling	of	students	with	intellectual	disabilities.	The	obtained	f indings	point	to	the	need	to	improve	cooperation	with	students’	families	in	this	field	and	empower	them	in	relation	to	the	ways	in	which	they	can	contribute	to	the	career	success	of	children.	Also,	the	necessity	of	expanding	knowledge	in	the	field	of	career	development	for	a	deeper	understanding	of	the	key	problems	in	this	field	was	highlighted.

The children’s versions of the Empathy Quotient – EQ-C, Systemizing Quotient – SQ-C, and children’s version of the Autism Spectrum Quotient - AQ– C were used as primary outcome measures. Girls had higher empathy, while boys had higher autistic traits. Empathy and systemizing were moderately positively correlated, but both were good predictors of autistic traits. The effect of sex on autistic traits was mediated by empathy as well as by the difference between systemizing and empathy. These results partially support assumptions of the Empathizing-Systemizing theory and the Hypersystemizing theory of autism, which should be further evaluated in a population with the autism spectrum disorder.

AB  - Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je da ispita povezanost između pola, empatije, sistematizovanja i autističnih crta kod dece osnovnoškolskog uzrasta. Uzorak je činilo 353 učenika osnovne škole, starosti 7-11 godina. U istraživanju su korišćene dečije verzije Koefcijenta empatičnosti (eng. Empathy Quotient – EQ-C), Koeficijenta sistematizacije (eng. Systemizing Quotient – SQ-C), kao i dečija verzija Koeficijenta autističnog spektra (eng. Autism Spectrum Quotient – AQ-C), kao primarne mere ishoda. Devojčice su imale višu empatiju, dok su dečaci imali izraženije autistične crte. Empatija i sistematizacija su bili u umerenoj pozitivnoj korelaciji, ali su oba bili dobri prediktori autističnih crta. Uticaj pola na autistične crte posredovan je empatijom i razlikom između sistematizacije i empatije. Ovi rezultati delimično podržavaju postavke teorije empatičnosti-sistematizacije i hipersistematizacione teorije autizma, koje bi trebalo dalje proveriti i na populaciji osoba sa poremećajem iz spektra autizma. The risk of burnout syndrome in speech-language pathologists in the republic of Serbia

AB  - Burnout is a current topic which many researchers are dealing with. This syndrome
is most commonly considered to occur in people who are engaged in ‘helping
professions’. Since speech-language pathologists belong to the helping professions, the
goal of this study was to assess the extent to which burnout symptoms are present among
speech-language pathologists in the Republic of Serbia. The sample of this research
included 150 speech-language pathologists employed in state institutions and private
centres throughout the Republic of Serbia. The assessment of burnout symptoms was
performed using the Maslach Burnout Inventory – Human Services Survey (MBI-HSS),
which measures three different dimensions: emotional exhaustion, depersonalisation, and
personal achievement. The use of statistical procedures confirmed the majority of the
research hypotheses. This population displays burnout symptoms, which are usually low
(on the Depersonalisation and Personal Achievement scales) or high (Emotional
Exhaustion) in degree. According to the findings of this study, while older speechlanguage pathologists report a high level of emotional exhaustion, they also report a
higher level of personal achievement. Respondents with more work experience report a
greater level of exhaustion. Lower levels of emotional weariness and a lower degree of
personal achievement were reported by speech-language pathologists with less work
experience. Satisfaction with one’s level of income was found to be the most significant
predictor of burnout symptoms. Marital status and the number of children have not been
associated with burnout symptoms.
AB  - Сагоревање на послу једна је од актуелних тема данашњице и све више
истраживања се њоме бави. Сматра се да су јој нарочито подложни професионалци из такозваних „помагачких професија“. С обзиром на то да професија
логопеда спада у помагачке професије, циљ истраживања био је да се утврди
степен у којем су симптоми сагоревања на послу присутни код ових стручњака
у Републици Србији. У овом истраживању учествовало је 150 логопеда запослених у државним и приватним установама широм Републике Србије. Испитивање
симптома сагоревања обављено је помоћу Упитника сагоревања на послу за помагачка занимања (енгл. Maslach Burnout Inventory – Human Services Survey
(МBI-HSS)) који мери различите димензије: емоционалну исцрпљеност, деперсонализацију и лични успех. Применом статистичких поступака потврђена је већина истраживачких хипотеза. Симптоми сагоревања, углавном ниског (на скалама деперсонализације и личног успеха) или високог степена (емоционална
исцрпљеност), постоје у овој популацији. Резултати овог истраживања указују
да старији логопеди пријављују виши ниво личног професионалног успеха иако
осећају и висок ниво емоционалне исрцпљености. Већи степен исрцпљености се
појављује код испитаника са дужим радним стажом. Код логопеда са краћим
радним стажом уочени су нижи нивои емоционалне исцрпљености, али и мањи
ниво личног успеха. Као најзначанији предиктор симптома сагоревања показало
се задовoљство висином прихода. Показало се да брачни статус и број деце нису
повезани са симптомима сагоревања

abstract = "Burnout is a current topic which many researchers are dealing with. This syndrome
is most commonly considered to occur in people who are engaged in ‘helping
professions’. Since speech-language pathologists belong to the helping professions, the
goal of this study was to assess the extent to which burnout symptoms are present among
speech-language pathologists in the Republic of Serbia. The sample of this research
included 150 speech-language pathologists employed in state institutions and private
centres throughout the Republic of Serbia. The assessment of burnout symptoms was
performed using the Maslach Burnout Inventory – Human Services Survey (MBI-HSS),
which measures three different dimensions: emotional exhaustion, depersonalisation, and
personal achievement. The use of statistical procedures confirmed the majority of the
research hypotheses. This population displays burnout symptoms, which are usually low
(on the Depersonalisation and Personal Achievement scales) or high (Emotional
Exhaustion) in degree. According to the findings of this study, while older speechlanguage pathologists report a high level of emotional exhaustion, they also report a
higher level of personal achievement. Respondents with more work experience report a
greater level of exhaustion. Lower levels of emotional weariness and a lower degree of
personal achievement were reported by speech-language pathologists with less work
experience. Satisfaction with one’s level of income was found to be the most significant
predictor of burnout symptoms. Marital status and the number of children have not been
associated with burnout symptoms., Сагоревање на послу једна је од актуелних тема данашњице и све више
истраживања се њоме бави. Сматра се да су јој нарочито подложни професионалци из такозваних „помагачких професија“. С обзиром на то да професија
логопеда спада у помагачке професије, циљ истраживања био је да се утврди
степен у којем су симптоми сагоревања на послу присутни код ових стручњака
у Републици Србији. У овом истраживању учествовало је 150 логопеда запослених у државним и приватним установама широм Републике Србије. Испитивање
симптома сагоревања обављено је помоћу Упитника сагоревања на послу за помагачка занимања (енгл. Maslach Burnout Inventory – Human Services Survey
(МBI-HSS)) који мери различите димензије: емоционалну исцрпљеност, деперсонализацију и лични успех. Применом статистичких поступака потврђена је већина истраживачких хипотеза. Симптоми сагоревања, углавном ниског (на скалама деперсонализације и личног успеха) или високог степена (емоционална
исцрпљеност), постоје у овој популацији. Резултати овог истраживања указују
да старији логопеди пријављују виши ниво личног професионалног успеха иако
осећају и висок ниво емоционалне исрцпљености. Већи степен исрцпљености се
појављује код испитаника са дужим радним стажом. Код логопеда са краћим
радним стажом уочени су нижи нивои емоционалне исцрпљености, али и мањи
ниво личног успеха. Као најзначанији предиктор симптома сагоревања показало
се задовoљство висином прихода. Показало се да брачни статус и број деце нису
повезани са симптомима сагоревања",
