Analiza obrazovanja osoba romske populacije

Abstract

Роми представљају етничку скупину која по свим обележјима заузима најнижу лествицу у друштвеној хијерархији. Образовање је једно од најзначајнијих питања у настојањима да се побољшају животни услови и промени социо-економски положај Рома. Узроци лошег обухвата Рома системом образовања у Србији су бројни и комплексни. Овај рад се бави анализом образовања особа ромске популације. Анализа образовања особа ромске популације обављена је у основној школи „Бранко Пешић“ у Београду. Резултати су показали да је у протеклих 5 година у образовни систем укључено 2843 ученика ромске популације. У првом циклусу основног образовања, 67.16% ученика ромске популације напушта школовање, док је у другом циклусу то 32.84%. Као најзначајније разлоге напуштања школовања, навели смо пресељење, финансијску ситуацију и породичну ситуацију.

Roma represent an ethnic group that occupies the lowest rank in the social hierarchy by all characteristics. Education is one of the most important issues in the efforts to improve living conditions and change the socio-economic status of Roma. The causes of poor inclusion of Roma in the education system in Serbia are numerous and complex. This paper deals with the analysis of the education of Roma people. An analysis of the education of Roma people was carried out at the elementary school "Branko Pešić" in Belgrade. The results showed that in the past 5 years 2843 students of the Roma population were included in the education system. In the first cycle of elementary education, 67.16% of Roma students leave school, while in the second cycle it is 32.84%. As the most important reasons for dropping out of school, we mentioned migration, financial situation and family situation.
