dc.description.abstractU doba informacionih tehnologija računar je postao neophodna i integralna komponenta u našem svakodnevnom životu.U okviru svakodnevnih obaveza i zadataka primorani smo da umesto konvencionalnih metoda koristimo programske sisteme na računarima. Ključ uspeha i opstanka jeste posedovanje veština i znanja potrebnih za korišćenje savremene tehnologije. Pretpostavka u svetu je da će razvoj tehnologije omogućiti i olakšati inkluziju osoba sa invaliditetom i smanjiti nivo potrebe za podrškom, omogućiti lakše pronalaženje posla i obezbediti integraciju u društvo. Međutim, nisu sve osobe sa invaliditetom u stanju da na podjednak način olakšaju svakodnevno funkcionisanje koristeći savremenu tehnologiju. Osobe sa intelektualnom ometenošću nailaze na različite prepreke prilikom rukovanja računarom. Stoga pri dizajniranju interfejsa treba dovesti na najviši nivo vezu između individualnih kognitivnih i senzomotornih sposobnosti i zahteva računara.Da bi se nešto preduzelo u pravcu poboljšanja ustaljenja prakse u ovoj oblasti neophodno je staviti veći akcenat na postojanje ovog problema i ispitati stavove defektologa, samih korisnika i proizvođača računarske tehnologije. S toga je tema našeg istraživanja je ispitivanje stavova studenata Univerziteta u Beogradu, Fakulteta za specijalnu edukaciju i rehabilitaciju o potrebi i primeni asistivne tehnologije u osnovnoškolskom obrazovanju. Uzorak je činilo 57 studenata četvrte godine Fakulteta za specijalnu edukaciju i rehabilitaciju,smer Specijalna edukacija i rehabilitacija osoba sa teškoćama u mentalnom razvoju. Za potrebe ovog istraživanja korišćena je modifikovana verzija upitnika„How to Teach English with Technology“ subtestovi A i C (Gavin Dudeney & Nicky Hockly, 2007). Svi ispitanici smatraju da je nastava iz predmeta Informacione tehnologije u defektologiji veoma važna za budući rad u struci. 98.2% ispitanog uzorka smatra da će koristiti stečena znanja i primenjivati interaktivne softvere u daljem radu dok 89.5 % uzorka voli da koristi tehnologiju u nastavi. Rezultati ovog istraživanja ukazuju da je od velikog značaja obučiti buduće defektologe za primenu, adaptaciju i implementaciju asistivne tehnologije u radu sa decom sa različitim razvojnim smetnjama. Mišljenja smo da bi kolaboracija Fakulteta za specijalnu edukaciju i rehabilitaciju i Elektrotehničkog fakulteta u kojoj bi studenti imali zajednički predmet o kreiranju softvera i aplikacija za decu i za osobe sa ometenošću, značajno doprineo razvoju tehnologije primerene osobama sa ometenošču i njihovoj boljoj socijalnoj inkluziji u našoj zemlji.
dc.description.abstractIn the current digital era computers have become an essential and integral part of our everyday lives. Instead of conventional methods in today’s world we are pressed to use programs and computer applications to complete daily tasks. The key to succeed and survive is to obtain skills and knowledges needed to use new technologies. The current assumption is that the development of new technologies will help with the inclusion of persons with disabilities by reducing the need for external support, thus making jobs more accessible and therefore making people with disabilities more integrated in society. Never the less, not all persons with disabilities are able to use assistive technology to aid them in everyday tasks and functioning. Persons with cognitive disabilities often face different obstacles and difficulties while using computers. Because of that it is important to design an interface that takes into consideration the link between cognitive and sensory - motor abilities and computer requirements. Our study will explore the general attitudes special education students have towards the need to use assistive technology in elementary school education. 57 senior students from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Special Education and Rehabilitation, took part in the survey. The results show that all the students thought that they benefited from the course IT in special education. 98.2% stated that the skills learned during that course will aid them in using interactive software in their future work, 89.5% said that they like using technology in the classroom.Taking into consideration the results of our study we believe future special educators need to be prepared and taught how to use, implement, and adapt assistive technology to fit the need of the different characteristics of the children they will be teaching in the future. These skills should be taught at the University, and implemented in the elementary and high school education system. We believe it would be beneficial to all that the Faculty of education and Faculty of electronics and technology had a mutual course dedicated to creating software’s and applications for children and persons with disabilities.
