dc.description.abstractCilj ovog rada jeste da kroz pregled različitih teorijskih razmatranja i istraživanja ukaže na ulogu i značaj Brajevog pisma u razvoju komunikacione kompetentnosti osoba oštećenog vida. Komunikaciona kompetentnost slepih osoba se između ostalog može definisati kao sposobnost funkcionalne primene Brajevog pisma u svakodnevnom životu i spremnost za korišćenje različitih medija u komunikaciji. Osnovni ishod razvoja komunikacione kompetentnosti je brz i efikasan prijem, pristup i razmena informacija sa osobama u neposrednoj blizini i komunikacija na daljinu. U radu se posebno razmatraju karakteristike verbalne i neverbalne komunikacije osoba oštećenog vida, zatim priroda Brajevog pisma kao alternativnog kulturnog oruđa i pitanje osposobljavanja pedagoških radnika za proces opismenjavanja dece oštećenog vida u uslovima inkluzivnog obrazovanja.
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this paper is to indicate the role and importance of Braille writing system in developing communication competences of individuals with visual impairments through an overview of different theoretical analyses and studies. Communication competence of blind individuals can be defined as the ability to functionally apply Braille in everyday life and willingness to use different media in communication. The main outcome of developing communication competence is a quick and efficient reception, access and exchange of information with people in the individual’s close proximity, or in long-distance communication. The paper puts special emphasis on the characteristics of verbal and non-verbal communication of people with visual impairments, the nature of Braille alphabet as an alternative cultural tool, and the issue of training pedagogical workers for teaching children with visual impairments in inclusive education to read and write.
