dc.description.abstractDevelopmental language disorder (DLD) in Serbian literature was initially presented by Spasenija Vladisavljević, professor of logopedics at the Faculty of Special Education and Rehabilitation (at that time the Faculty of Defectology), University of Belgrade, in a book intended for logopedists and students of Logopedics (Vladisavljević, 1973). It was referred to as “pathological underdeveloped child language distinguished by slow and deficient language development that requires special care and support, which is not the case with underdeveloped language in young typically developing children.en
