AB - This papers present results which are getting by the examination of speech and language ability by Test Picture Story. We examine 134 pre school children ages 6-7.5 years (60 children with phonological disorders, 35 boys and 25 girls and 74 children without phonological disorders, 40 boys and 34 girls. Basic and most important criteria for experimental group were that child has phonological disorders. Children with articulation disorders and good phonological function doesn't consist experimental group. We used next measures: Global Articulation Test, Articulation Standards, Test for the Examination Differences between Phonemes-Phoneme Hearing, Test for the Examination Phoneme Analysis and Synthesis and Test Picture Story. We gave quantitative and qualitative results analysis. By the qualitative analysis we concluded that both group (experimental and control) have regular grammatical sentences with the most frequent nouns, verbs, conjunctions, adverbs and numerals. Adjectives and interjections are not presence. By the statistical analysis we didn't found statistical differences between children of both groups on test Picture Story, as well as in relation of sex. Because, we look at the interval of reliable for probable p=0.95 average value for achieving, as well as lower and higher border of average. This show that children without phonological disorders have average achievement on tests Picture Story while children with phonological disorders have achievement under the lower border of average. Also, children wit phonological disorders have bigger deficits in number of regular sentences (50%), propositions (38%), verbs (35%), conjunctions and nouns (31%), pronouns (23%) and adverbs (21%). .
Dali smo kvalitativnu i kvantitativnu analizu rezultata. Kvalitativnom analizom rezultata smo zaključili da obe grupe (i eksperimentalna i kontrolna) ispitanika imaju gramatički ispravne rečenice sa frekventnom upotrebom imenica, glagola, veznika, priloga i brojeva. Pridevi i veznici nisu bili zastupljeni. Statistička analiza rezultata nije pokazala značajne razlike između eksperimentalne i kontrolne grupe, kao i u odnosu na pol ispitanika, ali je daljom analizom utvrđeno da deca sa fonološkim poremećajima imaju veću deficitarnost u broju ispravnih rečenica (50%), predloga (38%), glagola (35%), veznika (31%), imenica (31%), zamenica (23%), i priloga (21%). .

AB - Objective. Developmental verbal apraxia (DVA), or developmental apraxia of speech is a motor speech disorder of motor programming and planning. Children with DVA have problems with saying sounds, syllables, and words. The aim of the study was to determine the characteristics fundamental of laryngeal voice in developmental verbal apraxia. Two parameters are observed: height and tension of voice. The research was conducted at the Institute for Experimental Phonetics and Speech Pathology and in the Institute of psychophysiological disorders and speech in Belgrade. Methods. The sample consisted of 45 children ages 4-5 years. The first group (N=15) were children with diagnosed developmental verbal apraxia, the second group (N=15) children with diagnosed developmental dysphasia, and the third group (N=15) included children with diagnosed developmental phonological disorders. Groups were equalized in relation to age. The study was carried out individually. Results. Qualitative analysis of the results showed that: for 20% of group with phonological disorders it is present low voice in the normal tension, and in 80% of children it is present normal height in a normal voice tension. In group with dysphasia 13.4% of children have a low voice in the normal tension, 66.6% of children have normal height and normal tension, and 20% of children have raised voice in a normal tension. In the group of children with developmental verbal apraxia, 26.6% of children have a low voice in the hypotension of the first degree, 6.6% of children have a low voice in normal tension, three children have low voice in hypertension of the second degree, 20% of children have elevated voice in hypotension of the second degree, 6.6% have increased voice in a normal tension, and 20% have elevated voice in the first degree of hypertension. Conclusion. Results show that disturbances in height and tension of fundamental laryngeal voice are present in children with developmental verbal apraxia in a greater degree than in children with developmental dysphasia and developmental phonological disorders.
